Also still play a little World of Warcraft, outside of that mostly mobile games, couple of clash royale accounts over 3k trophies (but barely!) and also playing sword art online: memory defrag, which is nothing but a huge timesink haha!

A video game that looks exactly like those old pre-WW2 Merry Melodies cartoons. The sound effects are a little annoying, and it's really not my kinda game, but the graphics are cool as hell. Even though I'm not into this kinda nintendo style game, I'm really tempted to get a copy of this just because of how it looks.

Indeed! I'd purchased it recently, having felt similarly: not my usual preference for gaming, but looks so cool.

This channel does nerdy retro hardware and game reviews, and his subscribers requested he show Cuphead on an old B&W TV set. (He acknowledges this doesn't quite make sense, as cartoons of the day may well have been in color, shown in theatres, prior to TV. But nonetheless, it certainly closely emulates how I was introduced to this art style, via Saturday morning cartoons in the 70's.)

I played GTA4 on PC, but... I pirated it like the horrible scumbag that I am, so obvious my thieving ass never paid to play the Lost and Damned or Gay Tony DLC's. (Was the Gay Tony thing for GTA4? I dunno. Anyway...)

So the new GTA Online - Nightlife update came out this week. It features Gay Tony as a new character. And like I said, I never played the Gay Tony DLC or saw anything about it other than the title of it. Is it just me, or is Gay Tony the LEAST gay sounding gay man to ever claim to be gay? Was he gayer in the Ballad of Gay Tony? Because honestly, the Lester or Agent Steve Haines characters sound and act more gay than Gay Tony.

I'm just kinda surprised that Rockstar is actually STILL putting out content for the game. Then again, they're probably making more money from it NOW than they were a year or two ago. Used to, you could "migrate" your player character from the Xbox360 to your new XboxOne account. Well the 360 version of the game is hacked all to shit. On the XB1, apparently you can't mod/cheat, or it's very very rare. People were paying modders about 20 or 30 bucks for a XB360 created player account modded up with maximum money (a little over 2 Billion), ranks as high as they want, and KD ratios modded to be ludicrously high. They'd then migrate the acct over to XB1 and sell it to the person to use. Well Rockstar cut any ability to migrate accounts any longer, thus preventing that kind of cheating any further. Additionally, they audited EVERY PLAYERS BANK ACCOUNTS and took away everyones unearned modded money. So now... everybody's gotta actually WORK for their money. Either that, or you can always pay real money for in-game money. It's about 20 bucks for 1.25mil, 40 bucks for 3.5mil, and 70 bucks for 8mil. Which is fucking retarded. It can take you a day or two of several hours of playing per day, grinding out repeated missions, to earn just 1mil. So if your time is money, then... whatever. On the other hand... that's PLAY time, not work for money time, so is it really worth it to pay 60 bucks for a copy of the game and then pay another couple of hundred bucks just to "have fun" in online mode? Seems stupid as fuuuuuuuuuuck to spend more money on this game, but I guess luckily SOMEONE does, and it's probably how they can afford to keep adding shit every few months.

The money spends so ridiculously quick too. They've got a bad habit of hiding charges in things all over the place. You wanna buy one of the new nightclubs? They top out at 1.7mil. HOWEVER... once you "customize" your club with interior styles, light rigs, paid dancers, extra garages, etc, it'll probably add up to between 3 and 5mil. And hell no you're not done yet. Then you gotta upgrade the security to decrease the frequency of randomly CPU generated "enemy attacks". You also gotta upgrade your nightclub staff to include more bartenders and bouncers so you can attract more customers and make the most money (only 10k per day). Then you ALSO gotta upgrade the underground warehouse staff to increase the speed of production for illicit sales. Those 3 are probably another 2 or 3 million dollars.

Seriously, got online today with 12.5mil. After ONLY buying a fucking nightclub in West Vinewood for 1.7M, adding 4 garages, only 2 warehouse floors, and upgrading only the staff and security (not the warehouse), I spent almost 5 million dollars. Didn't do SHIT! And that 5 million probably took me 2 months or more to make. God damn this fucking game. If you wanna get anywhere in it, you gotta give up whatever kind of a real life you have.

I played around 60 hours of Hollow Knight recently. I honestly didn't think I enjoyed these 2D platformer type of games, but this game made me realize I enjoy them (some of them anyway) very much. Hollow Knight fits into a category known as "metroidvania". I'm pretty hooked now.

I also finally got around to playing Fallout: New Vegas earlier this summer. I put nearly 190 hours in it, and I enjoyed it very much. I had owned the ultimate edition of the game for a number of years now, but only just got around to playing it in June. Such a good game.

One Finger Death Punch is another fun game that I've messed around with. When Steam has a sale, it's only $1, and it's a ton of fun for that price. Screenshots are not impressive at all, but it's definitely one of those games you have to play to understand the appeal.

Oh! I almost forgot! Another game I've owned for years which I just finally got around to playing is LIMBO. What a truly unique platformer/puzzle game. It starts out really simple and kind of turned me off at first. I stuck with it and it ended up being a truly entertaining, albeit fairly brief (4-5 hours) experience. Highly recommended if you haven't tried it before:

i almost never play facebook games or facebook advertised games. however i did see a free game called magic the gathering arena. i always thought this game was so hard to play. mainly because it's got like 100,000 cards in their roster over 20 years. the game is quite easy to pickup. it takes a while to learn since it starts you out with garbage cards. compared to tourney players that probably got 90 percent of them. i really didn't think i'd like to game for those reasons but i play it quite a bit now.
