I noticed there alot of fight fans thats play q2. So I figured id create a thread to discuss any and all upcoming mma and boxing fights and see where it goes. HOpefully this thread gets more than just me posting in it, however if it is just me that doesn't matter, cuz Ill keep posting

The first fight I wanna mention is the upcoming Pacquiao v. De La Hoya fight. Personally I think this fight is close to being a joke and don't understand what de la hoya plans on proving with this fight??When a man is so much bigger than another you really dont get a good feel for who the better fighter is, because one man knowns that the other simply cannot hurt him.....I understand pacquiao taking the fight, because he has nothing to lose and really I dont think can hurt his rep. as the best fighter in the world. But De La Hoya has NOTHING to gain and everything to lose with this fight because if he loses to a man who is naturally 30-40 pounds lighter, then his career will be completely tarnished imo.

Plz comment on this and any other upcoming fight or maybe even a recently completed match

let me start by saying i was glad to see kimbo's ass get smacked by seth petruzelli.

sorry i can't really contribute to the Pacquiao/De La Hoya fight, i don't watch much UFC, but if there is a good fight coming up i'll definitely watch

my bad. i know so little about the fight scene that i saw de la hoya's name and was like hmm, maybe he's doing more than just boxing now. oh well haha

can't say I wasn't rooting for kimbo to live up to the hype but I knew it was only a matter of time, alot of talent out there--to tell you the truth I think David Tua would beat kimbo as well, even if they took it just bare knuckle

Personally I think its a toss-up...people still aren't giving Lesnar his due yet..however the man is a freak and really could very easily be undefeated

The Kimbo fight was a fluke, however he would get destroyed by any big name.

Lesnar is going to destroy Couture unfortunately, he looked really solid in his last fight vs Heath Herring. Not sure how he could be undefeated when he already lost to Mir.

okay first of all , metal didnt know who de la hoya is ...sickening hes one of the greatest mexican boxers and makes the most money in boxing...

secondly ofcourse de la hoya is gonna fight pac-man! its obvious margarito (witch is another fellow mexican will blast the shit out of any and all competiton and will take any pritty boy floyd or de la hoya down town , why because their pritty boyz and margarito blow's faces up , i saw a clip where he blew someones ear off his head a chunk was hanging down.. it make mike tysons bite look like a graze...the pritty boys are in it for the money their not in it for the competition.And we all know what happend to the puerto rican sensation miguel cotto lolz.

brock vs coture , id have to bet on lesnar . his previous displays of power is just stupid and not only that he was a champion wrestler in his younger years (not talking about wwf wrestling here) and he is a freak of nature but cotour has had some great wins and probably isnt gonna slow down anytime soon.

o ya guys if you missed it keep your eyes peeled for DREAM6 ITS FUCKING GREAT reminds me of the old k1 grand prix days , thats basically what it is almost but more pride style (fedor emelianenko was there , and is gonna fight new years , i saw some ultra fast grappling amazing moves ... i was awstruck wow.. ufc is a peice of shit in comparison...i caught this on HDNET and i loved every minute of it!

I think lesnar is gonna going to win, your word of 'freak' is the best way to describe him so far.

I dont know if anyone in here is big into the WEC mma...but my man urijah faber got knocked the fuck out in the first round, he was one of those guys who came out like hes hollywood fighting some nobody, and he paid for it with a big fist to the face.
