Well, i did come here to share my beliefs and to debate a little.
Most of you had good arguments, a few was way off the wall, a few others were uh well, i'll just leave those alone.
Quads: Great counters and good debate, I enjoyed debating this with you and look forward to more. Unfortunatly I believe my original post

is so far back now, any more debating would leave other readers confused over what the issues are.

Dehang: I understand some of your vewies and points. Again I say, good arguments. Although I would like to touch on one thing you said.

does people starving to death in Africa make them stronger? the free will theodicy certainly did not make me turn from religion, but the theodicy of suffering to shape character is ignorant beyond reason. it's a shame lack of independent thinking (believing in satan/hell/etc. because a book says it's true etc.) is still a huge problem in america. the power of indoctrinating the young when they're vulnerable is a terrible form of child abuse.

asking a born again christian how much they suffered before they found jesus certainly has credibility. it only takes faith, because that alone will change a person. faith in what doesn't matter, if you wake up knowing your day is going to go smooth, it will, and you're free. it wasn't jesus, it was your very optimistic state of mind.

Well it "can". Doesn't mean it "does" or "will". But I would like to say that they are starving to death because of they're rulers. Yea people will say i'm crazy for saying this or i'm some sort of finatic, but I say the're rulers are ruled by Satin with they're greed and lust for power.

Also, there are hundreds of Christan Missionaries over there right now trying everything they can to help the starving.
As far as Christian suffering before they found faith, I cannot debate that with you. You've made up your mind on that and any further debate on it would just simply be a back and forth rehash of the same thing using a variaty of different words and examples to say the same thing.

But I cannot argue or debate any of that with you. Because I feel you've takin ceartain parts out of a "modern" translated bible and severly twisted them into your own beliefs. Either that or you just simply copied and pasted something from a relegious hate thread.

i am just curious, why must satan be directly responsible for man's greed? why can't people just be bad or greedy without a fictional character thousands of years old influencing them? the way i see it, you either have good reasons to have certain beliefs, or you don't.
