Is it so hard to believe that rick was talking shit? I mean even after all of this happened isn't he still talking shit every night? Calling people faggots (bundles of sticks), idiots, spamming loltr etc?  rick is the biggest and oldest troll in ra2. he just came back from being banned for fucking with someone too hard. hes an admitted asshole (not that that's needed) and the worst when it comes to team stacking.  Are people really surprised to think that rick would stack the teams? All the admins got solid teams while the rest just seem thrown together. Target earlier in this thread said he thought 3 teams stuck out, I agree with 2 of those teams being stacked and im sure others do to. killo gets crucified for saying it but target doesn't. 
 
 So much ego and unfairness and you wonder why so many people have pmmed rick as far as teams being stacked.
 
 You guys love to run around saying how much work you did for everyone else but the truth is you did this tourney for you just to say you did it. Next time you try something like this maybe get the average player more involved, the guy that plays purely for the love of the game, the guy that never shit talks, the guy who more represents todays ra2 player and not you ego maniacs who love to power trip.
 Heres another idea, let the people who play vote in the admins..............

i have to agree. the teams do seem off. it's by no stretch balanced. i think the admins should be voted on by players or have captains as someone else mentioned. Or at the very least, a sliding scale of tiers seems also like a good idea. Tier 1, 2,3, and 4,  Also the tiers should be discussed by a general consensus and voted on. Then the admins can tally up their vote and add to it's legitimacy to have a balanced  final outcome to make the result more sensible. if that's too much work then, i guess it's not really for the players then now is it?

What a fucking mess. I dont even understand why a "randomizer" was even used. With the exception of 2 or 3 players, EVERYBODY knows where everyone stands in skill level, making manual teams or necessary adjustments shouldn't be rocket science. This shit was supposed to make people have fun and grow the community, instead it generated more crybabies. just stfu and play, next time around it will be performed better.

Personally, I don't even know 60% of the people playing so my justification of who is good or not would be a blind guess. Teams... look fine to me. There are 3 people per team with 12 teams. I think that it's fucking amazing we were able to get so many to sign up. If the teams seem lopsided to some people, deal with it. Lets just fucking play. Once this particular bracket/tournament is complete, we can randomize the teams again, start another draft and so fourth. This is only the first one of what we all hope to be many.

If you don't know how the teams were picked, you shouldn't make random assumptions as if one person made the teams/tier list.





also: if you don't like your team - it's a one time event with randomized players. Not everyone is going to like their team, get over it and play some quake, or don't, cry..whine..and see this never attempted again..your choice.

Ani, Killo is getting blasted because he dropped out of the tournament.  Last I saw, Ziel voiced his complaints but he didn't fuck over his team.  The admins created a three tier rating system based on their opinions.  Do you really think we can cookie cut all the players into three precise tiers?  This is their best idea to try and balance out the teams.  Let's run it through and if the teams are bad, we can mess with the system.  Who cares?  Nothing is at stake here guys...  Relax.

Admins being voted by the general players?  So, erica, adren and I are supposed to put everything together, get people signed up, trying to make as fair as teams as possible, then let other people admin?  Or you trying to say that I shoulda just made a poll and put every ra2'er down and see who voted who to the top and they made the draft?  I didn't see anyone else stepping up to do anything like this.  This is the first one, it's already bringing back in old school players who are talking about bringing back their clans etc so they can scrim again, so I'd say this was a good fucking start.  But people are going to whine regardless, especially ra2'ers .  And ya, things will be rethought out for the next one for sure, if there even is one.

phil with fader is questionable... rick definitely has a solid team with wc2 tacked on there... and adrenaline with barton is questionable...

other than that, I don't see any issues, and I am weighing in tdm skill which might not transition directly into the brain dead spam fest that is ra2

Assumptions?    I'm not complaining about my team, i'm not the type to complain about such. i'm not the guy shit talking 90 percent of the time. I'm only pointing out that other teams seem unbalanced, hence it would impact the serenity of this here "event" with further complaints as we have seen, over time matches start playing.

I don't think that predetermined teams by the admins would be that much better, since the team format is uneven. Regardless, some individuals will be on a better team or a worst one, so those complaining about teams should respect the pick since they already should have know that teams were going to be selected at random.
