Any interest in me casting a game (which I am specing) and uploading to Youtube? Can I even spec a game that I am not participating in?

I don't see any issues with it as I think Jehar might be doing the same at times when he can, and the more interest we can bring to ra2/the draft, the better  .  I don't think erica would have an issue with it either, but I'm not going to speak for her and I'm sure she'll post when she sees this. 


This also reminds me of people wanting to spec games.  I'll have to talk it over with erica/admins on exactly what we'll allow but back then if you wanted to "watch/spec" you weren't allowed to make a team and couldn't free float, otherwise there's always a possibility of someone using mumble/vent/comms to "ghost" for a friend/clan mate in the match if they are free floating in the arena being played.  We had big issues with it back then and eliminated people spec'ing all together, but I think if we can all be grown ups and not cheat, spec'ing won't be too much of an issue.  I'll message erica and discuss/post more on it later.

TBH the cheating thing won't be an issue.  After all, the only ghosting that went on was a little bit of fun between a couple of people in this thread anyway, and they've moved past that (I think).  ;>

There's only 4 more days left for signups guys, so hurry and signup!  We have 28 players right now as it stands all ready to go, it would be AWESOME if we were able to get at least 2 more to signup so we would have 30 all together and could make an even 10 teams!  If anyone knows any old schoolers that used to play that would come back for this, please please please, let them know before it's too late!

you misinterpreted the rating system.
At the moment, 7 people have down voted my posts within this thread in a derogatory manner, whether they clicked racist or otherwise. This in turn translates into a negative rating for the entire thread by showing -7 at the top lol. Just click my name and look at my received ratings and you will see who and how many people voted me down.

As soon as I clicked the -7 Rates, it showed your name next to the -7, so I did and I apologize for that.  Whoever is voting his posts down, can you please do it elsewhere?  We are trying to run a clean/fun draft here and I'd like to try to keep this thing up on the positive side.  I know these words don't look the best coming from me, but I want to see ra2 at least make one more comeback in it's life and us be able to play matches one more time before it completely dies, so if I gotta put my asshole side away for this to happen, then I will . 

And whoever is reading this and hasn't signed up for the draft yet, please do so!  We are almost at 10 teams, so the more, the merrier!

That particular 'feature' of the rating system never seemed to make a ton of sense to me. (Why should the whole topic show a negative rating just because random posts were downvoted?)

I'd attempted to turn that off once before, but it wasn't obvious how. After a frenzy of additional clicking around the control panel, the topic rates total is finally disabled.
