Maybe. Maybe not. I gotta say, I think Vick is a good fit as a QB for Chip Kelly. Vick's basically still a college quality QB in an NFL position even after all this time. And his style of play is probably well suited for Oregon style offense converted for NFL. I don't like Vick worth a damn and I hope he fails miserably at everything he ever does, but objectively I think Chip Kelly's gonna be the best guy to feed him plays and set him up to win. Andy Reid sure as shit wasn't getting it done anymore, so he can't get no worse.

Still, my left nut says Vick fucks his ribs up again before November.

We should have a NFL QB game like the famous person death game.
Which QB will get knocked out of at least 1 game.

Since there are only 32 starting QB's you can only pick 5.
First one with all 5 being knocked out of the a full game wins.  If no one gets all 5, then the player with the next highest total.
If your QB gets benched, he is no longer eligible (you cannot change that player) so pick wisely.  If your player gets knocked out and misses a game before they get benched, it counts.

My picks.
1- Stafford (Detroit) - he never make a whole season
2 - Vick (Philly) - same thing
3 - Roethlisberger (Pitt) - he always takes a beating and they just lost their center
4 - Tannehill (Mia) - Miami's O-line is bad and they don't have very good backups  (Dammit I wanted Gabbert from Jax)
5 - Weeden (Cleveland) - teams are going to blitz the shit out of him, pain will soon follow

Jacksonville's QB Gabbert is off the list, I checked and he got 15 stitches in his throwing hand and is out for next week.
Dammit I had him on my list, but since I found that he was already out I had to take him of the available list.

1- Stafford (Detroit) - he never make a whole season

I don't really see any reason at this point to think he won't make it all 16 games. He's had some injuries in the past, but a lot of that's been due to the fact that in the past they haven't had the ability to hand-off and run. I think Detroit has Reggie Bush as RB now, so maybe they'll be able to mix in more run plays. It'd be a shame if Stafford gets stretchered this year. I'm just amazed at how much better this guy gets every season. He was decent when he played at Georgia, but back then he didn't seem to have the same howitzer cannon arm that he does now. And his best receiver (Calvin Johnson) is from Georgia Tech. Ya know that had to be weird at first. That rivalry's been like Bloods and Crips since forever. And that's true too, cuz I'll shoot you in the asshole if you walk past my house in a Georgia Tech shirt.

Just one thursday football game tonight(7pm est @ Texas Tech) . #24 TCU v. Texas Tech. It has potential to be an ok watch, texas tech beat them 56-53 in OT last season as a slight underdog similar to this time around.

You're right, Stafford will never make it a full season. That is because he has made it the past 2 full seasons.

I don't get it. I mean it looked kinda like maybe the side of his helmet might've hit him in the facemask, but other than that, I've seen corners make hits like that a thousand times with no flag.

First they move the kickoff up so they're no kick off returns and now you can't hardly hit someone.  Instead of killing it slowly, let's just go ahead and make it flag football.

I was glad to see Johnny Manziel get humbled a little yesterday.
Johnny is a good player and he throws very well while on the run, but they treat him like some god even when he does dumb shit.
JM threw the ball up for grabs at least twice yesterday and got away with it. 
Listen to the announcer talking about the magic of the play, more like the luck of the play.
The receiver who makes the great play gets slightly mentioned but all of the hype about the "Magic" play goes to JM.

Notes from the Saints/Bucs game under way....

I agree the "protection" rules have gone too far overall. But T.B. has a bunch of "head hunters" that cross the line. It happened more than once, but see the hit on N.O.'s  Jimmy Graham by #43 of Tampon Bays for an example. Earlier in the game, a T.B. defensive guy got a personal foul for a hit on Brees which I thought was just one of those unintentional collisions that happen. It's a contact sport. But I have a new disrespect for Tampa Bay and will root for every team that plays them the rest of the year.
