I will back it off just a little and say top 5.  If he had Peyton all of those years like Harrison had, he would have had Harrison or better numbers.  Put him with Brees and the numbers would be top 5 easily.  Fitzgerald has put up good numbers with average at best QB's and hardly any other weapons around him.
None of that really matters since it is all guessing, but I think his numbers would have been even higher.

roddy white isn't top 3 breh...I don't even think he is the best reciever on his own team

He's the highest paid player on the team. Pretty sure he makes twice as much as Matt Ryan. That alone says he's pretty fucking important to the team. Dunno about specific stats or ranks as far as top 3 goes, but I assure you, he's in the top 10. Julio Jones is in the top 10 too, although he doesn't exactly have stats to back it up. White, on the other hand, DOES have the stats. Last season, White's reception numbers probably dropped a little since Jones began not dropping as many passes which made Ryan more comfortable throwing it his way. But year before that, Ryan was relying heavily on White to be his go-to man. I'll put it this way, if White became a free agent, GM's would be emptying their kids piggy banks to reel him in.

But regardless of the stats Fitzgerald puts up each year, he's still gonna make the top10 list for sure. He's tall, fast, and physical. Corners gotta be on him like glue to keep the ball out of his hands. Freakishly tall is the build everyones looking for at WR these days. Makes me wonder why in the hell Atlanta was keeping Brent Grimes at cornerback as long as they did. Sure, he's fast and agile like a cheetah, but he's short as all fuck. Dude was like 5'8" or less. Maybe that ain't so short to regular joes like us, but in football where most everyone is at least 6' and up, that's pretty tiny.

SPEAKING OF THE CARDINALS...

I was watching the replay of the Cardinals Cowboys preseason game last night when I heard... the weirdest fucking thing ever said by any football announcer in the history of football. I dunno who announces the Cardinals games on TV, but they got this one sidekick guy that sounds kinda like Jesse Ventura, like he's trying way too hard to sound butch. But if you get a chance to see the replay, watch just after the 4:20 mark on the clock during the 4th quarter. Someone runs back a kickoff and gets tackled with a pretty standard hit. But this announcer guys just WAY overplays it. First he says something about "That hit popped his boil." Then he says, and I quote word for word, I shit you not...

"You get hit like that and it opens every orifice in your body and stuff just comes out."

What the fuck does that even mean!?! He shittied his pants? He puked? He jizzed all over the field? Earwax shot out of his ears? I swear, I've heard old man Madden make some pretty WTF comments back when he was sidekicking for Al Michaels on NBC, but never nothing quite that... gross and weird.

After watching the replay of this weekends Falcons @ Ravens game, I'm not too worried about Atlanta's chances of doing well this year. Seems like they've FINALLY changed their mindset about short fireplug runningbacks now that they've got Steven Jackson. They've still got Jaquiz Rodgers if they want a smaller speedier elusive back for 3rd downs or certain situations, but they've also got this backup by the name of Josh Vaughan out of Richmond who's a pretty big beefy dude like Jackson, maybe faster than Jackson. He was doing quite well against Baltimore.

On the other hand... I can't say that I'm equally thrilled about ALL of the backup players Atlanta has. The guy they got as who will likely be the 3rd QB in the lineup SUCKS ASS. Sean Renfree, a rookie out of Duke. From what I saw of him, he's AWFUL. Every single pass he threw was always too damn high. He completed several but they always arrived too high to where the receivers were having to jump every time to make catches, even when it wasn't necessary, which was 90% of the time. Not one single pass the whole time he was in hit his receivers in the numbers. Several incompletions would've been complete all day long if he would've aimed the shit lower. He almost caused fumbles on a few quick pitches back to the RB when he spazzed out and flipped the ball end over end rather than tossing it smooth. If something happens to Ryan, they might be okay with the backup. But if the backup needs a backup, they're FUCKED. Like, HARD. I swear to god, I think Joe Namath's ancient dust-farting ass when he's drunk and hitting on reporters could do better than this guy.

I'd like to know exactly what makes you and other people think Julio Jones is a better receiver than Roddy White. I just don't get why people seem to have such a boner for Julio Jones. Because as a person who's watched every last Falcons game for the past several years even when Jones was still playing for Bama, I haven't seen Julio Jones catch that many passes until last year when Matt Ryan was basically FORCED to pass since Michael Turner wasn't performing well running the ball. On the other hand, I've seen Roddy White make all kinds of crazy catches with defenders superglued to his nuts. Last year he wasn't catching as many, but that's not because he was dropping passes, it's because Ryan was spreading it around more due to the fact that teams were 2-man covering White a BUNCH.

If all goes well, this year should be a nightmare for defenses against Atlanta. With the addition of some new bigger runningbacks, teams won't be able to plan for mostly pass defense against Atlanta like they did last year, so Atlanta should be able to mix up the play calling a lot more and hopefully score more points because of it. They're gonna NEED to score more points in my opinion, because I think after cutting a few of last years defensive players, Atlanta ain't gonna be as quick to the ball or as deadly with the hits. I used to talk shit about Dunta Robinson being a violent loudmouthed thug, but after watching the clip of him bashing the shit out of RGIII last year and damn near knocking him out cold, I just had to laugh and think "Man. I'm gonna miss seeing him beat the shit out of people."

Speaking of South Carolina, whatever happened to Marcus Lattimore? I was thinking San Fransisco drafted him, but I haven't seen him play. Hadn't heard jack shit anywhere in the news about his recovery from that horrific mangling he got last year against Tennessee.

Hehe. None of em, really. I really haven't seen many teams put forth full effort in any of the preseason games yet. Except the Jets. And even when they tried their asses off, they still basically sucked.

Didn't see that one. Saw the replay of them versus the Ravens where they were winning up until they sent in the backup QB's. That kinda pisses me off. They had decent backups the past two years, especially when they had Chris Redman. And that particular year, they NEEDED a decent backup when Ryan went down with a broken foot or whatever.

I also watched their game last night. Again, they should've been able to easily crush Tennessee, but they ain't too worried about trying hard in preseason... unlike the Jets. Way to go, Rex. Dude gets a boner for getting ANY win so hard that he ends up getting Mark Sanchez fucked up before the season even starts. But I guess when you stink as bad as the Jets do lately, you'll chase ANY win (even the ones that don't count) just to boost morale and keep your players from hanging themselves in the toilet. But Atlanta don't give a fuck about preseason. Not many jobs up for grabs, no matter what anyone may say. They already knew who'd get all the starting jobs, and probably already knew who they'd stick in the 2nd and 3rd place jobs even before week 1 of preseason. At this point, they just wanna make sure folks are ready to turn it up once the season starts. The fact that starting cornerback Asante Samuel is already somewhat injured is probably quite concerning to them. Not to mention Roddy White sprained an ankle a week or so ago. Without both White and Jones out there at the same time, shit don't always work like it should. When one sucks that day, usually the other one starts playing great to make up for it.
