Elysium got down-rated with his complaint because the real intention of him disliking the rating system is clear to most, imo. AH ROME! WHAT A COUNTRY!!!  Don't worry about the -2 from me, Elysium. Maybe at some point I'll reverse it, but for now, it's just fun. I think the rating system only "somewhat" gives an indication of a persons usefulness and social status around here. For some people, their given green to red ratio is pretty accurate. For others, maybe not so much. It doesn't mean anything anyway, so if anyone is going to allow themselves to be upset by it, that's their own problem. Judging a person solely based on their forum rating is like being... a racist ignoramus. Does anyone here look at the rating anyone has and form an opinion of them based on that alone? I doubt one person would answer yes to that (maybe Thomas29 or whatever his name is, but he's a crackhead anyway). I think I'm a good example of how it ain't exactly accurate. My damn bar is pretty green, a lot greener than most peoples. I refuse to believe that I'm liked THAT well around here. I'm a fucking asshole. I know this.

Like i said in a precious post. The admins are "supposed" to be neutral on most topics. what i have observed from Ely is exactly what i expected to be the embodiment of that. so does reflex. you can argue he may have deviated from that slightly but he is human like anyone else here, so what you expect. on the other hand, haunted has participated in the smack category over the years doing the exact opposite. so if you're really going to invoke admin status, at least be truthful. haunted would be the only giving constant down votes if he felt the need. The purpose of rates should be exactly what it's based on now, i.e. if you're a good guy and/or give good things back to the community, whether that be in advice, civil discourse, technical assistance, gaming help, or whatever the case may be, you get a positive rate; if you're doing everything opposite of what I just said, you get a negative rate. The balance comes from people who think you're right vs. people who think you're wrong. And if someone gets a shitload of negative rates, guess what? THEY'RE WRONG AND THEY DESERVE THE NEGATIVE RATES. There's the common Tasty Logic for ya. It's actually the opposite, but whatever. you see the same people downvoting my comments even when i don't even make a comment. i seen Magic as a balance of power in the community. not that it matters anyways. green bar, red bar. just colors on a screen. much like the forum blather, "2 nouns combined to illicit a prescribed response." i didn't complain to anyone and never to Ely because i really don't care. Its all fun / war games. Ely doesn't side with me because theres not much im trying to advocate besides having some of you jackasses join ra2 nights. So haunted, and ex and etc stop trying to use my outstanding reputation to smear Ely. I have worked hard to be the king of quake and to rule haunted and folk like the mules you are. My posts always shit on haunted and rk and thats all that really matters. I actually enjoy being down rated, because it shows how hard I own everyone. so keep it going rk, haunted, dervish, focalor, dicklick, ex and the rest of you asshurt clowns and remain owned for eternity. Hurry up and downrate this as quick as you can. GTFO

Am I the only one here who actually bakes bacon? Nod to dervish on the olive oil. Sad I missed this, we actually make Alfredo here about once a month or so. Heavy cream and parm is just too damned expensive. We could kick off a heated argument about stuffed manicotti recipes.
