All they gotta do is this:

Have a position on things. State that position in clear language. Then when you get elected, actually DO those things.

How fucking hard does it have to be? No, instead, they flip flop, take contributions from corporations who tell them which way to vote... fuck that shit. We didn't elect your DONORS, we elected YOU.

Ever since they reformed campaign finance, it's been the single biggest thing to fuck up politics since... EVER.

ROFL....it was obviously because of me and posting his "public" information.

I doubt he had an opportunity to see your post before I remapped the URL to the comedy-insult graphic.

A few months ago, my initial reaction was that linking to a page containing information that is under the direct control of the person to whom it applies, is not a big deal, since that person has chosen to make their information public.

But shortly thereafter, upon seeing such links relentlessly being posted with an apparent motive that reeks of harassment and intimidation, I changed my mind and began removing them automatically.

I also had heard it through the "grapevine" (aka. series of tubes) that some members of this community may have been using said public info to make prank/harassing phone calls to other community members and their families.

If I had hard proof of this having transpired, I'd be inclined to ban whoever was involved at the router. I don't care to have individuals like that using this site.

A little smack talk on the forum is one thing.

Leave people's personal details and their families out of it.

Reading this thread has negatively affected my life.  I am late for work, I want everyone involved banned or at least forced to use a name of my choosing for the next 3 months.

Yea, I mean, it sounds like the connection you had to that server became saturated with the higher packet rate. A lousy connection would probably do better with fewer, fatter packets than with 4 times as many packets that are, individually, a little smaller. Might be interesting to fire up a Quake3 server (30Hz, I believe) to see how that performs over the same connection.

I have actually taken the initiative to contact r1ch and try and get a response to this thread, to either update the anticheat database or hand it to quadz who is more active on the quake 2 scene

Hm.  I never asked to be in charge of it.

No no you guys underestimate this virus, it can easily be spread, by any bodily fluid including sweat. If someone sneezes near you or sweats on you or kisses you then god help you... This is more dangerous than ISIS, Al Queda, Russia, and North Korea combined.

Chargers blew it on that last drive with 1:40 left. Poor play calls when they needed some good ones in the clutch,

Yeah, agreed. Although it wasn't entirely the play calls that did them in. On that last possession, they had like 4th and 2 or 3, and couldn't manage to get the ball snapped in time. Luckily I guess someone on the sideline was trying to call timeout when the play clock hit zeros, so they lost a TO but kept their field position. Think it was either the pass on 3rd down or the second 4th down attempt that was just poorly aimed too far out in front of the receivers route. So I kinda fault Philip Rivers on that one. Sure, he had linemen crawling up his asshole, but none of them were directly in his line of sight to the receiver he was targeting. He just should've thrown it better.

Was watching some shit on NFL Network a few minutes ago about the old 72 or 73 Superbowl when Pittsburgh edged out Madden's Oakland Raiders in the final seconds of the 4th in what became known as the Immaculate Reception. That shit still makes me laugh. :D I guess according to the rule book back then, if a pass hits one receiver, another member of that team can't catch the bobble or deflection and it would've been considered an incomplete pass. But it happened so fast that most of the officials couldn't make a call on the play. So after about 20 minutes of scratching their head, they said fuck it and gave Pittsburgh the points and they won the game. Anybody who's never seen that actual play, do yourself a favor and youtube it or something. One of the top 5 greatest moments in NFL history. And man, football was brutal back in those days. You think some of the helmet to helmet hits in recent years are pretty vicious... not even close. Back in the 70's, bodies would go flying 8 feet up in the air when a linebacker would smash a receiver. Would be cool if the NFL would have a channel kinda like the ESPN Classics channel and show nothing but old NFL games from the archives.
