Citizen Vigilante (2026) I think I've seen one or two clips from it on youtube recently. The acting and dialogue just seemed very... forced. Like the whole premise of the thing was so ridiculous that I'm not sure even Oscar caliber A-list actors could pull it off. It didn't leave me with any desire to watch it. Similar feelings from trailers and behind-the-scenes stuff I saw about a very strange and extremely fucked up documentary by another german director, Werner Herzog, something called The Act of Killing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GiqYLrJBG0 I have zero desire to watch that. I thought it was something new, but apparently it's from 2012. He has people who led death squads in genocides describe murders they committed in lurid detail and/or recreate their atrocities. I don't understand why someone would want to do this with these people. To see if they feel remorse? Who even gives a crap if they feel any remorse or not. There's certain things a person can do where any consideration about them as human beings ceases entirely. If your film isn't going to possibly result in them being mauled horrifically by the jaws of justice as they deserve, then don't even bother because all you're doing is attempting to profit from sensationalizing human misery, much like if Roman Polankski had decided to leave his house covered in blood and sell tickets to people to tour the Manson murder scene.

(Angine de Poitrine) I've seen them all over youtube but I don't really pay attention to them. Their weird style sort of reminds me of this other jazz fusion duo I came across. Domi & JD Beck. In my opinion, EONS more talented than those two, not that they suck by any means, but these two... WOW. Like the classical guitarists I posted above, they were also child prodigies, starting their music journeys as mere toddlers. She's every bit as good as Keith Emerson (of Emerson Lake and Palmer) ever was on keys. And JD Beck is mindblowing on drums. He goes with an old school jazz kit with just a snare, one tom and the kick, but can make it sound like 3 people playing at once, it's INSANE. He sounds like a machine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4td2EImaG4

If the goal is to spam and annoy people because it's fun, why would you stop just because someone asked you nicely to? YOUR m.o. is to annoy people because you think its fun. Solipsism at work.

It's 2025, and some people STILL do this.
![]() I don't play anymore, but for the sake of others, I'm gonna do something crazy that probably won't work, but you never know until you try: I'm going to simply ask nicely and hope they're excellent enough to listen. And so I humbly ask this person to please cease with the chat spam and just play the game and enjoy the miraculous fact that this many people still bother coming to these servers to play this very very ancient game.

I don't think what ultimately happened to Laura was unfair. Yes. Thank you.For the zillionth time, (but for the benefit of anyone reading THIS thread and not one of the numerous others rehashing this same issue),... the truth is: EVERYONE around here genuinely wanted to be her friend. I was her friend for as long as she would allow it. When she first showed up, I was one of the first friends she made around here. I recruited her into EoM. Unfortunately, her conception of a "Quake2 clan" was informed by watching how CRU (Campers-R-Us) would team up against people on the Vanilla and DM servers. While playing on a server with her... I fragged her, and she got upset and quit the clan on the spot. I later explained to her that "normal" Q2 clans do not team against others on an FFA server because it is considered poor sportsmanship. We remained friends, she rejoined EoM. A day or two later, I ran into her again on Vanilla, I shot her, and AGAIN she got upset and left the clan on the spot. This time I did not attempt to talk her into rejoining again, as clearly she would've been happier in a clan like CRU. And so... she joined CRU. Before long, she got upset with them over something silly and gameplay related and left that clan too. She began making overrides for xatrix mod. Quadz and others gave her lots of help figuring out how to do it properly. She even started her own clan. But for some reason... (I'm not aware of the particulars) she got upset at people in her clan, and kicked EVERYONE out of the clan. The people she kicked out of her clan wanted to continue playing Xatrix and her overrides. At some point, she began threatening to sue Quadz over the usage of her overrides. Long story short, she became too much of a potential liability for Quadz, so she was banned. I'm not sure how it works, but they came to an agreement with some sort of license that would allow Tastyspleen to legally use the content that she "created". (It was not original content - she never made any maps, she converted maps to the Q2 format and then made overrides for item placement, that is all.) It was a perpetually repeating trend - she'd find a reason to get upset with EVERYONE she came into contact with. Anyone attempting to tell this story any other way was never her friend and never had any contact with her. If they ever did become her friend, inevitably that friendship would've ended with her manifesting a reason to become upset and add them to her ever-growing list of enemies. Can I sympathize? Sure. It's gotta suck going through life not being able to maintain any stable relationships with anyone. But I'm not going to patronize someone with a mental malfunction by treating them any differently than anyone else. It's not that I don't "respect" everyone... which I don't, because respect is EARNED. Courtesy, on the other hand, should be given freely to all until they refuse to give it back. I don't care what condition you have, no one is above anyone else in this life - Sam fuckin' Colt made sure of it.

what surprised me more is his age vs his CoD.. seems young to have such heart problems. Dunno if he is into steroids. His physique aint like most of his colleagues that you can immediately suspect. I kinda like his WWE persona with the rest of WYATTs.. Guess he was one of those last acts that I really enjoyed and await before I quit avidly watching wrestling. He's always been kinda overweight. In fact I think I was reading on wiki about him one time that back in his NXT or pre-NXT days, he was known as "Husky Harris", lol. He kinda had that classic beer-belly strongman physique, like Vader (r.i.p.), Bam Bam Bigelow (also r.i.p.) and most of the guys you ever see competing in the reruns of strongman competitions on ESPN2 late at night. Bray wasn't even the biggest (aka ROUNDEST) guy WWE had. Meet Otis. He can't even put his arms all the way down at his sides.![]() He's sorta funny. I still think Bo Dallas was a better character. And now that I think about it, perhaps Elias was funnier, although he was more in the love-to-hate-him "heel" category than Bo Dallas was. But NOBODY was a better heel than Rowdy Roddy Piper. LOVED Piper. If you have Peacock Premium, I think WWE Network comes with it. Check out some of the old collections of episodes when he did his little "Piper's Pit" skits. It's hilarious! He almost killed a guy bashing a real coconut over his head in one of the skits. edit: Haha, found the clip on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKXpSyjfIik

https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-66613784 That sucks. I hadn't heard of him until he moved up from NXT to WWE. I sort of liked him when he first showed up with the hillbilly Manson-esque "Wyatt Family"... and their family became even more interesting when they added the big man Braun Strowman to the roster. But after the Wyatt Family broke apart and Bray started doing his own thing as "The Fiend", it got to be too theatrical and over the top for me. I was kinda hoping he'd get shit together and work out a good direction for his character, kinda like Cody Rhodes did during his time away from WWE. Bray Wyatt was one of the only wrestlers they had who might've been capable of having a scary character rising to the same level as Undertaker to fill that role, but... not anymore. Didn't realize it before now, but old 90's WWE wrestler Irwin Roy Schyster (aka IRS) was his father, and ex-WWE wrestler Bo Dallas was his little brother. I miss Bo Dallas, he was a good comic relief kinda wrestler. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZfq7XUBBXA
