You never hear keyboard based bands anymore. There were loads around back in my day. This guy has always been one of my favorites. Here's Brian Auger playing a bit of jazz fusion on a Fender Rhodes:

Peg - by Steely Dan? Not really. Auger is based around Cm7 groove, and Peg is more major 7th, happy groove.

Hey no problem. Brian Auger's music is heavily reliant on minor 7th chords. He's been playing for over 40 years.
Steely Dan (Donald Fagen) uses a lot of what they call "mu" chords. You take a major chord and add a 9th to it. Example a C major chord plus an added D note. Plus they write brilliant, original music. No one is like them.

One of the best songs of the 2000's IMO. I like what they've done with the Em - D - C progression. Made it quite original.
