Those amberjacks fight like a mother fucker

Yeah, funny thing happened to me one time.. on the head boat 2 mates work, each one is in charge of one side of the boat, so i had about 20-25 people to tend to at all times, baiting hooks, taking fish off the hook, taking care of huge ass tangles and backlashes.. and this one guy had just brought a 30 some pound amberjack up to the surface (after about a 10 minute fight), and he was tangled with 2 other people.  I was trying to undo the tangle while keeping the fishes head above the surface so he couldnt make another dive, and when i wasnt looking there was a huge tug on the line, which almost drug me overboard, dunno how i didnt get a hook in my finger.. i looked down, and im not sure what kind it was, but a 15+ foot brown colored shark came up and bit the amberjack in half, leaving the head on the hook.  blood was fucking everywhere like in a jaws movie lol.  the tourists were going fucking nuts.  i once saw a big basking shark swim directly under the boat about 25 miles off.. and when i say big, i mean 35+ feet and wider than a hoola hoop.  harmless filter feeder though. wish i had a pic.. dumbass tourists tried to snag it lol
