2 large mouth and a cat? i mostly do saltwater fishing.. i worked on a head boat (70 footer taking people bottom fishing in the gulf stream) for about 6-7 years.. mostly caught sea bass, trigger fish, red and vermillion snapper, grouper, sharks, amberjacks, you name it. Also love freshwater fishing as well, i once caught a 7 pound large mouth (based on mine and my dad's estimation.. i am very good at judging the weight of fish, and he was a commercial fisherman for 35 years). I really would like to catch some freshwater trout and smallmouth some day.

Metal....you should come to Michigan to catch monster smallmouths, and a variety of trout (browns, rainbow, and brook) all in one river!! The Ausable river has just about everything you could want. Including sturgeon spawning in the spring from Lake Huron.

Hell yeah i'd love that, i guarantee it wouldnt take but a five minute lesson and i'd be catching more than my share... only thing is i haven't ever fly fished. I'm an expert at almost all knots, preparing baits, luring fish in, and fighting them.. its what i've done my whole life. i'm up for any challenge and anything new.. sounds like fun

I used to go trout fishing in the streams at red river, new mexico all the time. Caught some nice rainbow and brown trout. I got a 3 lb rainbow trout that I caught there mounted on my wall. Ive caught just about every kind of freshwater fish there is, plenty of bass and crappie as well. I went deep see fishing one year visiting my dad in Florida. We went 40 miles off the coast and caught some red snapper, amberjack, thresher shark, barricuda and grouper. Those amberjacks fight like a mother fucker

I didnt fly fish for the trout, there wasnt enough room. Ive done it in lakes though. Catching the trout in the streams takes skill. You got to pitch your bait (usually salmon eggs) in the calm parts of the current where the fish are. And if it makes a big splash when it lands the fish will go away.

I also caught a 6lb largemouth bass at the lake, after the rod got pulled in the water. I had a rod sitting on the dock and all of a sudden it got pulled in. It happened so fast I thought my brother kicked it in. I got another rod and drug a hook along the bottom and snagged it, pulled it up and then reeled in the fish.

Theres a lake about a minute walk from my house. It sucks now cause they made a spillway dam and the lake is only like 4ft deep now but it used to be good fishing. I used to walk there with friends and we'd fish with spoons or spinner baits and catch a striped bass every 10 casts or so.
