Yeah sadly all my guy friends over the last 10 yrs have been chopping off their long locks.
Only one has his long hair still out of about 8

That 'thing' is the first bass I ever bought (a Hohner Steinberger copy.) The neck is a bit bowed and the action is high (truss rod doesn't do jack)... so it's pretty hard to play. But it has quite a nice tone for slap bass. The P-Bass has the lowest action of any of my basses and is really easy to play. But it doesn't sound as threatening when slapped.

I agree with the magical pic on this one the P bass does indeed look more in place. I can't stand those funky headless designs. Here is my latest Jazz box, isn't she a beaut??
