Wow. I mean... if he wants to oppose homos, I get that. I pretty much oppose it too. I don't make religious excuses about it or any other kinds of excuses, I call it what it is: discrimination. I discriminate, plain and simple. Not ashamed to say it. It probably isn't right, and in fact I'd go so far as to say the "probably" can be removed from that statement. But I don't apologize. I simply don't like homos for what they are and what they do. Why do I have no problem knowing that I'm discriminating against someone? Because I realize that's what humans do. A lot of people don't like me for what I am and what I do. A lot of Americans don't like arabs worth a damn anymore because of September 11th.  A lot of Americans don't like "Christians" like Pat Robertson anymore because, like me, they think that he uses religion as a vehicle to promote his discriminatory beliefs as if they are completely justified. And the point where I differentiate between him and me... is that he passes the blame for his discriminatory beliefs off on Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible, his higher power that he has no control over or responsibility for, whereas I accept full responsibility for the shit that comes out of my own mouth as my own ideas and he obviously does not.

And I'm not saying that I'd go out and protest against homosexuals. I don't agree with the life, but I also don't "hate" it enough to go out and oppose it as if I really honestly give a shit about these people. I don't like it, but it's not a threat to me, so I live and let live. I say discriminatory shit about middle eastern muslim arabs too, but there are actually a lot of them that are a viable threat to me and my way of life, and I certainly WOULD go out and oppose these fucking assholes. Make sense yet? This is how I reason it and justify it to myself. Don't care if anyone agrees with me, it's just who I am, and there's no changing it. For example, if there was a gay man in a car accident on the side of the road, and I was the only one around to know about it and I could help him, I would. Why not? But if I was out looking for a job and it came down to choosing between two places, one of them having lots of gay people on staff that I'd have to work with and be around for hours and hours everyday... I'm gonna opt to work at the other place where I don't have to chum around with these gay people that I prefer not to be around. It's best for them and it's best for me because it'll prevent either one of us from having contact and maybe saying or doing something one day that the other one might object to.

And what I find to be even more disgusting about this guy is the fact that he broadcasts these things into peoples homes everyday and these people actually believe what he says as if he's an authority greater than them to make these kinds of judgements FOR them, and they blindly believe it right along with him. Dude... that's so pussy. Own your shit. Take responsibility.
