It depends where I find it. Interesting things are posted at videosift,and sometimes they lead me to youtube,especially if the video refuses to work at the former site. I like to deliver traffic to where I got the link where I can. I really don't spend "all day" looking for stuff,only when I'm eating and want entertainment,and videosift is a great place for such things...

That place looks AWESOME!!! I'd pay for admission. Hopefully they wouldn't throw me out for laughing too much though. Honestly I think eavesdropping on some of the other patrons conversations would yield more comedy than the exhibits.

Ugh.. When I first saw this, I imagined something at least in the same ballpark as typical circumcision, as in for hygiene purposes, although I really couldn't even picture that. But silly me, it was removing all their nerve endings needed for external sexual intimacy.

As someone who went to a private christian school that test and the implications its existence makes are just disgusting.

At the junior high level we had science classes in which they taught the scientific method without alteration. There were times when scriptural references were made, or compared and contrasted with current scientific theory and it was done in a tasteful manner, and in a way that allowed the students to kind of choose which sounded more plausible to them without being told outright crazy and unproven stuff like "dinosaurs lived with humans".

A lot of these discussions included reasons why the creation story in the bible was at best a vast oversimplification made by ancient peoples and how the very way it was written and the form of the analogies used show the level of cultural and scientific advancement of the writers.

This wasn't some newagey christian sect either, as the school and attached church were fairly solid Quakers.

They did it right, while maintaining their beliefs and not shoving them on people as the ONLY facts, and I think it's because they actually drew the line between Bible Study (homeroom/1st period for everyone) and the actual Science classes that people needed to take and pass to have a working knowledge of science and be able to survive in a public school system if they ever did happen to go that way.

How successful would these kids be if they went from the kind of private institution that would give a test like that to a public school teaching actual science?
