You know, that makes me think a little...

If a person is a member of Christian church, accepts Jesus as their savior in front of the entire congregation, is told by the pastor/minister that they will go to heaven or be raptured, and the rapture occurs and that person is not raptured... can they sue that church in a court of law? Maybe I should start studying law, become a lawyer, and have these people have me on retainer in case of such a thing.

The name of the youtube video is Scientific Proof of God...that name alone would raise flags but I encourage you anyone with about an hour on their hands to watch it, brings up some very VERY interesting arguments. Would love to hear comments and opinions on it.

I downloaded the first video and skimmed through it. The second one is still loading...

The first video appears to make all the standard creationist claims. Essentially: "X" is really complex, therefore God. Or: Science cannot yet explain "Y", therefore God.

How did the DNA molecule originate? Look, it's a bacterial flagellum! Aren't the physical universal constants finely tuned? Boy, the Cambrian explosion produced a lot of diverse species in a short amount of time! The eye is really complicated! This must be the work of an intelligent designer.

If the second video holds any weight, all cells are created and made by information stored in the DNA...so how would a cell come about without DNA guiding it, even the most simple cells have thousands of protiens that are arranged in a way that would be impossible without DNA. So my question is, how do you make a living cell without the assistance of DNA? To say it's by chance would be on par with saying the statue of liberty has a chance of assembling itself, it being worlds less complicated than even a simple cell I just fail to see how it's possble....people can argue all day about evolution and how things come to be how they are but I'm more interested in the single first cell and it's construction which in my opinion is impossible without information in DNA. In fact, natural selection doesn't even exist without DNA so I also don't understand how anything can be "selected" to create a cell without DNA.

Natural selection enters into it because DNA surrounded by cellular material is more survivable than naked DNA. "Selection" is a bad word from the standpoint of evolution because it implies a selector and a selectee, "God chose Abraham." Species "choose" their traits. Nature "selects" the survivor. The truth of the matter is that random processes occur within nature, (chaos) and the fruit of the process and survival pressures leads to a species that is better equipped to survive in the habitat that arises.

If the oceans were a soup of DNA and the chemical composition favored the survival of a DNA molecule that coded for a cellular wrapper and a nucleus then that DNA is more fit to survive and multiply and pass that trait on to successive copies of itself. Viral DNA is like this. The fact that viruses are opportunistic invaders of other living hosts is also the result of evolution.

Unless you believe that a loving God created the viruses and bacteria that cause Malaria, the Bubonic plague, Influenza, Polio, Smallpox and the myriad other diseases in Man because God loves man and only wants good for Man.

I'm not arguing for or against god here, in fact I believe if you took god from the equation the question would still be: How do you create even a simple cell without DNA....did the first cell create by chance then all of a sudden come to the conclusion "well I need DNA to reporduce", DNA being essentially a big data base of information where did all this intricate information come from? The coding in DNA is more complex than any program we have written today, in fact alot describe it to be long enough to fill a couple hundred pages in a book just in raw code form. DNA is without a doubt complex, without DNA there is no cell so how can a cell form without DNA.
