So does that mean that if a parent teaches his/her son or daughter about God, you believe that that parent ought to be arrested and the child reconditioned and placed in "protective custody" to believe in atheism?

There may be a lot of atheists on this forum, but this is just a forum. In the real world I don't see much progress. In fact, I'd bet most of society (the parts of society doing well), probably thinks your views are crazy. You can come back with the funny numbers about scientists not believing in god, but clearly "god" isn't going anywhere. A couple things:1)Take a look at WWII, if people were athiest, and weren't serving the lord, we'd be fucked - welcome to reality2) People like Jefferey Dahlmer do exist, and look at the prisoners, yeah they're crazy, but take away the 'fear of god' from them and watch what they doIt appears atheism could of been the largest problem and atheism would of fucked up civlization. Thankfully, that wasn't reality, and civlization was formed through faith. Funny how it turns out "perfect" from a human perspective. Good luck getting rid of religion. I have all the confidence in the world that the effort will fail. p.s,I could care less if there is a god or not.
