Oh and btw I think it's rather hilarious to see the impact Granny can make here. Why would anyone wastes time deleting all his demos and posts his beyond me. Are you that threathened by him?

I thought he was hilarious at first with his over the top cocky attitude and some of his demos were entertaining. The amount of demos he posted might have been annoying to some but it's still a sub-forum made to post demos...deal with it. If you don't want Granny posting demos about you...well beat him. Most of the time the demos involved good players so they could have been entertaining to some.

Q2 has been played for a long time...but these days many servers are gone and I thought it was great to have tastyspleen with so many servers, active message boards and tourneys once in a while. It's kinda sad that people abuse the trust of the main person behind all this.

Btw paradise you sound crazy when you were talking about your purification...and that it's something that needed to be done. Come back to earth...you're no saviour.

Mya did infact have first hand knowledge. While Mya and betazx were talking on vent DaHanG joined their channel and confronted betazx about his past actions. He then completely ignored him and tried to pretend he did nothing wrong. He couldn't even give a simple answer. I also informed her myself of things he did when I first saw that she was talking to him. You know the rest.

That doesn't give Mya firsthand knowledge in my book.  She could only repeat what she'd heard.  It's hearsay. 

The firsthand knowledge I was seeking was statements from players who had personally been victimized and who, ideally, were sure beyond a reasonable doubt that bzx was the abuser.  Such persons were in short supply, but I am not going to apologize for trying to find them.

Here's an easier analogy for you to comprehend:
You step on gum. It was a mistake. Instead of saying "if I knew it was there in the first place, I would have stepped over it, but now that it's stepped on I have to accept it's at the bottom of my shoe", you can say "This gum at the bottom of my shoe is bugging me after every step, I know that it should not have been stepped on in the first place, and I will remove it immediately to fix it.

Next time you're up in front of a judge, I hope he uses an analogy this irrelevant to explain why he's going to convict you based on hearsay.

My apologies for putting you through a dreadfully tedious week of pain and suffering while I attempted to ascertain what firsthand testimony was available.

I feel it should be noted that this process of interviewing and information gathering took more of my personal time than any other individual involved. 

However, I'd rather endure those hours of tedium, if the alternative is resorting to a process of snap judgements and bubblegum analogies.

If betazx was such a good admin why didn't he report krez's actions to the server administrators like byte? He was well aware of krez's actions yet never did anything about it. Instead he also abused his admin and hid behind krez (he never addressed any private messages or forum posts EVER) as if he was a saint.

Indeed, I never heard one person praise bzx as a great admin.  But if your only gripe rests with the process I used to try to learn more about the details and specific facts of the allegations made against him, please see above.

The risk was obviously very low, but common sense could have been executed to avoid any of this.

Is it the end of the world to give a different person without a history of abusing (or as you call it a "controversial' history) admin?

Did you have someone in mind?  Please realize, if allegations of abuse were to surface against the new guy, I would follow the same "tedious" process of trying to learn as much as possible about the facts surrounding and substance of these allegations.

Ganny you realize you used to have 724 posts correct? You may want to take a quick glance at your post count and notice the number is now in the 260 range.

I felt restoring the demo posts was the crucial part.  But since you seem to view the reduction in post count as some kind of burn, I've reset his post count to 724+724 = 1448.
