On the topic of the past posts in this thread it's an object of opinion on how you feel vs homosexuals. Nobody is truly right or wrong. You support them? (which I find interesting) and I do not... That's fine! Thanks to this thread I do however have a more understanding to why people can support homosexuality, but my opinion has not changed towards them. 

Oh... and granny is a fuck head. I love how he is an negative adjective now.

What kind of "choice" is it, with those kinds of gross feelings?  It's the same kind of choice for them as it would be for you: i.e., none.

I agree with the post above, with the exception of the word "none".
replace it with: "a difficult choice that contradicts a person's interpretation of their instinctual values" and it's a bit more realistic.

there's always a choice. no matter how you feel. they are just much harder to make if you feel strongly, one way or the other.

there is no choice in sexual attraction. there is a choice, however, in acting upon it. please understand these are two distinct differences.

people who are genetically predisposed to being an alcoholic can choose not to drink, even after they have been overcome by the disease. it's just much harder for them to make that choice than it would be for someone else.
the choice is still there though.

genetic predisposition to drinking alcohol specifically? i'm not sure how scientific that claim is. at best, perhaps there are people who aren't strong-willed and easily susceptible to self-controlling substances because of this.

Predisposition towards a certain choice can influence a decision in a great way, but when it comes down to making the choice its usually pretty cut and dry.

this again falls into the my previous statement. there is a difference between being sexually attracted to a member of the same sex, and acting upon the desire to mate with one.

is it immoral to be gay? is it only immoral to perform gay acts?
if you are rational, the answer is no to both since harm is not done (unless you consider the fairy tale of eternal life in hell because of this harm). morals have no place in dictating others' lifestyles that do not inflict harm.
