Quote from: DaHanG on November 17, 2006, 11:58:26 AMright, and i am asking: who hasn't realized they are choosing to have sex?A: anyone who believes that gay people are forced to have sex with other gay people because their sexual orientation leads them to be attracted to members of the same gender. (They could just as easily not have any sex. So could I for that matter.)B: anyone who says they made a kid by accident. (they chose to do something that makes children.)]C: Dumbasses.
explain how i would be bothered personally in one way or another by homosexuality. i haven't yet.

Sorry to interupt you guys, but why aren't the gays around here defending themselves?NI-UX, where are you!!!?
ooh cheap shot!
I'm not trying to state why they do it, just that they do make a choice to have sex with each other just like straight people, so sexual orientation can be subtracted from both sides of the equation.period.
A: anyone who believes that gay people are forced to have sex with other gay people because their sexual orientation leads them to be attracted to members of the same gender. (They could just as easily not have any sex. So could I for that matter.)B: likewise, any straight person who says they made a kid by accident hasn't realized that they chose to have sex.C: Dumbasses.
translation: admission of defeat. grammar had nothing to do with the situation.
I'll rephrase that to make it even more convoluted:a: Anyone who thinks that gay people have sex with other gays because their sexual orientation makes them chose to do the nasty with another person of like gender, hasn't realized that people (gay or otherwise) don't have to have sex at all, and their choices are not absolutely determined by things like feelings and sexual orientation.BTW, forces that affect our choices to do something (like having voluntary sex) are not all external stimuli. (in case that was the way you were interpretting the word force in this context)
metaphorical statements are supposed to have some sort of supporting foundation. justification of such statements does not consist of "oh it will happen, just wait!"
the more you spin the wheel (people having sex with a chance of producing advanced offspring) the more you are gonna have a chance to win. (of course you could also lose your ass, as you so eloquently pointed out yesterday.)

(in case that was the way you were interpretting the word force in this context)...i guess i thought it was universally understood that people acknowledge sexually active gays choose to have sex. you seem to think there is more to it; there is not. all sexually active people choose to have sex (unless it's rape of course ) anyways. you're not insightful in stating that gays choose to have gay sex, so let's let the topic dissolve.
um it's not supposed to be some newfangled idea...
