yep, kismet punished my clan for an act that couldn't have been more than annoying to her/etg. That is what I've been saying the whole time, and since I connected to ETG the next day on this computer successfully because I have a new IP, my ban has been extended from 1 week - 2 weeks. The only reason i connected was because I honestly did not know how long the ban was when i first got it because i didn't look.. just exited irc and went on AIM, most people had a 24 hr ban. and fanny, no i didn't think you were taking sides exactly... I thought you were agreeing with kismet by calling it a 'just punishment', which i totally disagree with... I mean the reasoning that she used for locking my chan was because 'most of the people idling in #straight also idle in #clanego'. what kind of reason is that?!?! she could have done the same to #tastyspleen because they all idle in there too. Not to mention the banning that she did to people when all they did was connect to the channel and not say anything. Some people have auto-accept on.. it was porrible that they could have been /invited while they were afk and couldn't help it... but no, kismet had to be the narrowminded, over-the-top jerk that she has been known to be to MANY people. ETG has not responded in the my attempts to contact them.

Kismet now says that my clan's channel violates ETG rules.. and has disabled topic change as well so now we can't schedule practices, and makes it difficult to get the message to members that we have a match coming up. I haven't done anything more than making #straight and my clan's channel especially has not done anything wrong from the start. Apparently #clanego 'violates ETG rules'.... uhhh... our topic had nothing offense, just our rostor and news of our upcoming NADML match with valiant. NOTHING was/is improper about our channel WHATSOEVER. $:-\$

if anything kismet is only hurting our dying q2 community by killing one of the most active clan's (probably even the most) channel.

not possible, banned from #etg + they would never let me do it anyways.. they wouldn't even let boost register a channel. (an op in #clanego)

as for x being kobra, I guess it could be him on a proxy or whatever ppl are using these days to change their ips, i think if it was coming from the same ip that kobra uses quadz wouldve said something about that, then again maybe not

They seem to be two different people, running two different operating systems.
