The current playoff teams. I don't think anyone in the top 4 are losing this week
1. Alabama vs Mercer
2. Clemson vs The Citadel
3. Miami vs Viginia
4. Oklahoma vs Kansas
Not many good games this weekend, the only game I have any real interest in is Wisconsin vs Michigan.

Precisely why they decided to hop Georgia over Alabama in the rankings. Their schedule has been utter bullshit this year.

Yeah. After seeing how close Mississippi st was to beating them that point is suddenly way more valid. It's not like they're blowing everyone out on their schedule. Apparently a decent team with size in their OL but isn't very special or anything is an issue to Alabama. Auburn will be interesting.
In other news, UNC got their first FBS DIV 1 win of the season against Pittsburgh.
I hope Miami doesn't sleep on Virginia. They're not a great team but if you're turning it over and making mistakes they'll make you pay.

The Philly seagulls are looking good. But how about the Jags? Boy have they come a long way from taking turns with cleveland on which is the worst team in the NFL. Good for them.
I wonder if Atlanta will snag a wild card spot. Other than new orleans and carolina, only philly, the rams, and seattle have less losses and detroit having the same in the NFC. So out of 16 teams they're basically tied for 6th, yet they're 3rd in the NFC south. If they keep winning they have a chance.

I don't care. I'm just enjoying watching John Elways Broncos lose. He's not used to losing. I bet he's kicking his poodle across the room.

It could be a soccer field. I noticed at the Patriots/Raiders game this weekend in Mexico City (held at a soccer field built in the 60s) that the field had a very pronounced slope on the sides, obviously to let rainwater run off without pooling up. I think a pro soccer field is wider than an american football field, so that would explain the extra sloping. Looks like the same kinda thing in that video, plus it looks like a flat surface, which would resist a football rolling even less. It's definitely not grass, and I don't see the rubber pebbles flying up from footsteps like it does with astroturf fields.

You're right soccer fields are wider although not by TOO much. But typically when soccer and football share the same field it's torn up like crazy. So why does that field literally look like a tennis court?? Lol. The drainage point you made makes sense, but the turf seems to be perfectly maintained Bermuda grass for a green on the PGA tour or some weird fake shit.

Great to see the Detroit Lions keeping traditions alive. There's two things you count on every Thanksgiving: the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and the Lions losing to whoever shows up - the Vikings, the Cowboys, the Green Bay Packers, a bus load of handicapped nuns, you name it.

Down goes #2 Miami to Pittsburgh, the only FBS team UNC beat this year haha. That's the way she goes though.

Watching UCF vs South Florida right now. Random but I haven't seen this many times teammates have ran into each other or been in the way in awhile lol.

The UCF/USF game was entertaining, going back and forth to the end.
The game looked like a Big 12 game, it had a lot of offense and practically no defense.
UCF may be undefeated, but if they make it to a top bowl, they will get beat.

It was definitely entertaining but a silly game. You're right. UCF is going to get beat in a New Years six game. So would Boise state.

Today has some possibly good games and some games with big playoff implications.
At noon, I'll be watching these games.
Georgia vs Georgia Tech - UGA should win this game easily, but GA Tech always seems to give UGA trouble.
FLA vs FLA St - this is the first time that this game really means nothing but bragging rights and the winner can only say "I suck less than you"
Kentucky vs Louisville - This may be the best game in this time slot, big rivalry and both teams are 7-4.
Ohio St vs Michigan - Ohio St. will still find some way into the playoffs
Mid afternoon games
Alabama vs Auburn - this is big game of the day, I hope it lives up to it.
UNC vs NC St. - You would think NC St. would have this, but its a rivalry game and UNC may step up today.
Wisconsin vs Minn - I will glance at this game occasionally if it stays close.
Okla vs WVA - Oklahoma had this game before WVA QB Grier broke his finger. Now with WVA using a backup QB, it will be a blowout.
Vandy vs Tenn - This is alot like the Florida/Florida St. game. No one is going anywhere, but the winner can talk shit for the next year.
Night games
Clemson vs South Carolina is the headline game. I think Clemson wins this by at least 2 TD's. SC has a good record 8-3, but the SEC East is weak.
LSU vs TX A&M may be a good game.
Stanford vs ND - I will check this game out occasionally with the hope that ND gets beat again.
So as you can see, I get nothing productive done on CFB days

UGA 60/40 to win. I'll place a bet on ga tech though because they'll be more of an underdog than that. High scoring close game.
Florida over FSU in a low scoring close game.
Kentucky over Louisville.
Ohio State
Uhhh I don't know. Really tough for me to call. Alabama auburn could be high scoring or low scoring for different reasons. If it's low scoring Alabama should win, high scoring it would be anyone's game possibly favoring auburn.
UNC is on a 2 win streak over Pitt and WCU after switching to their 3rd string quarterback. He's a junior and was Mitch Trubisky's back up. You'd think after Harris's two dozen interceptions and the redshirt freshman lacking experience(although has the athleticism) they would've put the kid in that actually knows the offense scheme in sooner lol. We'll see how he does against NC state. State probably has it though.
