Brady has a huge ego, he wants to be called the best QB ever. Brady has made statements in the past about holding all the records when he retires. Brady may have a problem getting all the records because Drew Brees is ahead of him in passing yards and completions and TD's (only by 1 TD). Brees who is younger than Brady, leads him in passing yards by over 4,000 yards and in completions by almost 600. Next season unless something bad happens to Brees, he will become the all time leader in passing yards and completions. I hope Brady never gets those records.
I could see a washed up Brady wanting to play for free just to have a chance at being the record holder. With Brady's ego, just the mention of someone else having better numbers than him would definitely sting.

These are the most interesting playoffs in awhile (in a way).

These bowl games have kinda sucked so far in college. We SHOULD get some good ones in the next day or two. I'm about to check the schedule.

Baker Mayfield has had the flu. It may be a factor, but nothing against the kid but he's overrated. Last year with deshawn Watson and much trubisky has been uncommon in recent years. They're both good quarterbacks able to compete to par in the NFL. It doesn't mean they're amazing but that's awesome. That ain't Baker Mayfield though.

Pretty much. Speaking of Johnny, he actually just got cleared to play in the CFL, haha. I'm sure you've heard this stat before but the last game the browns won was when manziel was quarter back. How sad and crazy it's that

PAC12 is now 1-7 in bowl play. The big 10 is 5-0 unsurprisingly given the matchups.

Today Penn State(the big 10's best team debatable with Ohio State) will take on Washington(the pac's best team but not consistent). Given the competitiveness and rest period before a bowl game the defenses may come out strong and it could be close and lower scoring in the first half. But, Penn state will run the score up at some point. Washington is 50\50 on doing the same. I think this is potentially the best game yet but, Penn State for the win.

Wisconsin vs Miami is a weird matchup. Wisconsin is by far the more consistent team, but if Miami plays like they did in back to back games against va tech and notre Dame then they can win it. Wisconsin probably has it although I'll be rooting against them.

This is just more Ohio St. bias. "cement case as best team to miss playoff"

I looked at the stats and USC had 413 yds, Ohio St. had 277 yds.

The score was 24-7 but USC outplayed Ohio St., but turnovers gave the game to Ohio St.

Darnold played like shit. SHIT SHIT SHIT! He finally got exposed as the medicore QB he really is. If he leaves for the draft this year, I feel sorry for whoever picks him up. Yeah, he can throw a long ball to meet up with a receiver in the right spot, but he seems to have no idea WHEN to do that. He was throwing at guys covered up every other throw. In the pros, those throws get picked at a MUCH higher rate.

Watching the Washington vs Penn State pre-game thing on ESPN, all 3 of the idiot analyst/commentators picked Washington to win. (As of now, Penn State is leading by 14pts in the 3rd Q.) What do these assholes do all day? I thought it was their JOB to pay attention to and watch college football. Most of the time, these idiots used to play football themselves. You'd think they'd know more about football than ME. But that's apparently not the case. Because I was 90% certain Penn State was gonna win. It's not over yet, and anything can happen, but I still say Penn State is DEFINITELY going to win. Why? Because unlike these windbags they have in suits behind a desk, I've actually WATCHED a few games this year. If Ohio State was the best team to miss the playoffs, Penn State was the next best team.

I dunno why these pricks on ESPN are always so high on USC. Yeah, like Ohio State, they've won plenty of National Championships (7 or 8 I think)... but what you did 10 years ago doesn't fuckin' matter in relation to a game you're playing TODAY. None of those kids are at that school anymore. But I guess they have the same mentality that the committee voters do: who did the best in recent memory even if you're completely oblivious to what they've done THIS YEAR. Which is exactly how Alabama got in the Sugar Bowl ahead of Ohio State.

I know sometimes other factors might play into things, and those other factors are kinda what edged Alabama ahead of Ohio State for that 4th seed... but if you ask me, it's pretty fucking retarded to pick someone who didn't even win their division within their conference ahead of a conference champion. Alabama basically get's a bye week for the conference championship game, one more week to rest and plan and practice. Fuckin' bullshit. There's some crooked shit going on.

My god, from the highlights I saw of the Browns-Steelers game, it looked like the Steelers were running roughshod over a peewee league team. Final score says it was a 4 point game though, so maybe it's just the selected highlights that made it look worse than it really was. But still... ZERO!?! REALLY!?! Christ, even the Giants got lucky a few times this year and avoided a zero.

I would pick Philly to represent the NFC, but things aren't looking to swell for them anymore. Unless by some miracle Atlanta beats the Rams (and they won't... because... keep reading) and then it's Philly Vs Atlanta (they'll beat Atlanta, because the Falcons SUUUUUUCK), then I expect Philly to lose to whoever they play. But more than likely it's gonna be the Rams who rep the NFC. Maybe the Vikings... but I'm leaning more towards the Rams (Los Angeles? Right? Not St Louis anymore? Still not used to that.)

And I'll be honest... Atlanta really isn't THAT bad. But they're beat up all over the place, especially at the O-line, and it's really putting the brakes on any offense Atlanta can muster. They kicked 90 fuckin' field goals today, and luckily it was against Carolina, so it was still enough to win the game. But against anyone else... that shit ain't gonna cut it. And with Julio Jones teetering on the edge of injury right now, each pass to him could be the last of the season. I gotta imagine the odds on Atlanta making another Superbowl appearance would be ASTRONOMICAL.

As for the AFC... I'm gonna make a huge unexpected gamble and say... New England, duh. But I'm still holding out hope that either Kansas City or Jacksonville can meet them in a few weeks and take a big nasty vein-popping shit of corn-and-peanut-laden congealed diarrhea all over their fucking dreams. But realistically... New England's GONNA win it all again this year, you know they will. And I suppose it helps when you have the swag to pick up a free agent like James Harrison this late in the season too. Did you see the interviews they did with Steelers players asking them their opinion about his move? None of them came right out and said it, but you know they're thinking, "That dirty no-good motherfucker's be gonna gifted a Superbowl ring he didn't earn and a bigger paycheck as a result. So much for loyalty. Fuck that stereotypical ethnic ghetto-style individual!" Seriously, that was quite a dick move on his part. But... it ain't against the law or the NFL rules. That was the worst offensive performance by Carolina all year possibly. Carolina's secondary and coverage in general was great, partly due to Luke kuechly reading Their offense and dropping back into coverage himself when necessary. But if you allow Matt Ryan to sit in the pocket forever untouched that coverage is only going to last so long. He could scramble too and find a wide open guy with room to run. Carolina's DL could've done better. They did fine in the red zone with less field to cover which is why Atlanta kicked so many field goals.

SCam Newton is an idiot. Starts out terrible. Has a great drive in the 2nd Q assisted by a penalty but he still did very well. The next time he gets the ball EVERYONE is set up on the line except him. He's kneeling with his eyes closed doing some stupid ass shit for attention. Then he immediately throws an interception with zero Carolina players around. He was missing Greg Olson by miles. For being such a streaky player that requires establishing a good rhythm to continue to play well he sure is a big shit talking fool. I'd almost rather have jake delhomme back.

The NFC seems very unpredictable still to me. All the games are like a coin flip. The only way I'd lean a certain way is looking at home field advantage and their record at home.

The rams had a tough time yesterday, Minnesota was beat by Carolina recently, and no wentz for philly. And the other teams who knows.

Philly is struggling on offense without Wentz, they got shutout at home yesterday by Dallas.
I think the Rams or Vikings will take the NFC, but like Haunted said, there is no dominate team.

AFC
Unless someone hits Brady and makes him crumble to the ground crying like a baby, NE will win the AFC

Mr. Ego will get another SB ring and make sure he let's everyone know he is the best of all time.
It is to late for Christmas wishes or I would wish to see Brady taken off the field wearing an air cast

I do not wish any lasting damage, just long enough for NE to lose and not get another SB.
