I also remember near the end when Georgia got called for a face mask there being a non-call. Yes, the face mask was legitimate but in the replay it certainly appeared to me that the Alabama player grabbed on to his face mask as well afterward. I saw it and was like WAIT A SEC and expected herbie to say something and for it to be replayed again but it was ignored.

Also, to my knowledge Georgia isn't known for their excellent sportsmanship (or lack thereof either). But holy shit, any team seems like the classiest team in the nation relative to Alabama. The constant shit talking, the shoving, and the fuck trump shouting on national tv was ridiculous.

Don't get me wrong. I'd rather have the kids be physical and passionate on the field than big softies. I think when you attempt to attack an assistant coach you may be a tad undisciplined though

I will give credit to Saban for pulling Hurts and putting the other guy in. Alabama was never going to win that game with Hurts at QB.
UGA packed the box and was not worried about the pass. Once Alabama had a QB who could throw the ball, it loosened up the UGA defense.

Yeah, and they gank the fuckin' kid from all the way out in god damned HAWAII! Which says a little about what lengths Alabama/Nick Saban is willing to go to in order to win at any cost. And I mean "at any cost" literally, because it costs BIG MONEY to get that kid all the way from an island halfway to Japan to nowheres-buttfucksville podunk Alabama. Do you think a school like Vanderbilt or Wake Forest can afford to do that? These schools get paid handsomely for these bowl appearances. The more prestigious the bowl, the more money they get. This is how all the same schools keep coming back year after year to the major bowls. They get the money to improve their program and recruit more effectively, and the more they win, the more recruits are drawn to being talked into going there in order to have the best chance of being drafted for the NFL in an early round and thus get paid more. This is why schools like Hawaii rarely get ranked at ANY point in the season. All the best local talent gets bought out and shipped off.

I thought the Falcons would beat Philly. Foles played really good and the Philly defense shutdown the Failclowns running game.
It was an ugly game to watch like many of the playoff games this year.

The AFC will be the same as it is every year. New England will win the AFC and probably the SB.
We will all have to hear about how great belly-check and pretty-boy are

I hope Jax can beat PB, but whoever wins this game is going to lose to NE.

I thought the falcons would beat philly too. I said in an earlier post that I thought carolina, new orleans, or atlanta would beat the rams. So as the team that barely made the playoffs I was like damn Atlanta got dealt an OK hand. A team they're favored against then the team that just lost their star QB. They're probably gonna make the NFC championship. But an ugly low-scoring game doesn't really cater to Atlanta. Philly got em.

Yup, I just got off early to see fournette jump over the steelers defense for that TD on 4th and goal. I hope the jags can keep winning too. Screw NE.

I dunno how the score in the Jacksonville Pittsburgh game ended up being a 3 point margin. It was not really a close game. That's how games go sometimes though. Glad Jacksonville pulled it off. I would LOOOOOOVE to see them go on to beat New England next week. If when preseason started you made a list of 3 teams that wouldn't be in the playoffs, it would probably include the Browns, the Jets, and the J-ville Jags. Good for them.

That poor guy from new orleans that missed that tackle by a mile, and instead took out the legs of his own teammate. Damn. That's equivalent to a field goal kicker's shame for missing a close one and blowing the game. Poor Brees, too.

Yep. All he had to do was take his little arms, open 'em up really wide, and try to grab onto that motherfucker. Instead, he lowered his shoulder and tried to bump into the guy. Can someone explain to me why these assholes at the top level of football competition STILL haven't learned how to "TACKLE" a motherfucker properly? I swear to christ, every fucking play on every fucking team, you see these assholes lowering their shoulders and hitting people rather than wrapping them up and dragging them down. Let's look at where the fundamentals of football actually comes from: european rugby. You don't see those guys trying to shoulder bump assholes to the ground. If they did it with the consistency that NFL players do it, they'd be kicked off the team because they suck.

It's cool that the Vikings get to advance because they've never won a Superbowl, but in my opinion, New Orleans was CLEARLY the better team yesterday, and even MORE clearly, they have the better quarterback. Case Keenum SUCKS. Whenever New Orleans got close to him in the pocket, he'd force passes into REALLY REALLY stupid spots where he had no business throwing it to, and at least once it resulted in an interception (it's a fucking miracle he didn't have more). Brees and Ryan were the only 2 QB's left in the NFC side who would've given Brady any real competition.

Another boring as fuck year in football. Alabama wins the CFP National Title.... AGAIN. And Brady and New England win the SuperBowl... AGAIN.

They still have Jacksonville to get through, but... let's be honest with ourselves. We HOPE it turns out one way, but deep down we all know it's gonna turn out another way, don't we? We only get what we want maybe once every 40 years if we're lucky.

It is time to decide who is going to the SB.

Eagles/Vikings - these two are pretty evenly matched and they both want to generally have the same game plan to win.
It is going to come down to which team executes better and don't turn the ball over.
I get the feeling after last week's miracle that the Vikings will win this game.

Pats/Jags - Headline - "Brady shows once again that he is the best of all time and beats jags with one hand"

I really hope that the Pats lose. I want to see someone help Brady up after a sack, if he offers the wrong hand, then help him half way up and let go so he has to catch himself with the bad hand.

I hope the refs don't baby Brady and everytime someone touches him they get a personal foul call

The pats will probably win and go on to win the SB
