The writers didnt do a good job of exposing this drama clearly enough.

Also, after beth is shot, you can clearly read cop dawn's lips, as she says " it wasnt me!!"

I did some digging, and the actress who plays beth spells the scene out in her interview.... i think everything she states makes the scene more intelligible but i still dont agree with killing beth off.

Yeah, Jemma on Sons, Beth on Walking Dead. They're dropping like flies. Everybody on the shows I watch who I'd want to fuck and then put a pillow over their face and shoot them in the head because I'm sure I wouldn't care to hear all the stupid shit they'd ever have to say... they're all dead. So sad.

Gonna try not to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen the episode yet... but not gonna try THAT hard. Because like always, I got up bright and early this morning and was gonna download the latest episode, only to have it basically spoiled for the umpt-eleven-millionth time by Yahoo. They featured a story this morning titled something like "The real reason they killed me off: Interview" and had a picture of the star in question. So... there it is. Now it's spoiled for you. Not 100% mind you, you now know someones gonna die, but at least you have the benefit I didn't have of not seeing a picture of the person.

Fuckin' Yahoo, man. I swear, I'm gonna have to start presetting my browser the night before anything to have Google as my homepage rather than Yahoo.

This isn't the first time I've ever bitched about this. It's happens far too fucking much.

Anyway, my opinion of the episode:

Yeah, okay. So this is how they're gonna play it? Just kill off people left and right as the only means of injecting emotion and jerking tears? It's a thin ruse for superficially improving the quality of the show and how much of a connection viewers have to it, and it's gonna get stale as hell the more they do it. I haven't been too impressed with the story so far for the first half of this 5th season. The whole Terminus thing, then mullet-man admitting he was full of shit, then the hospital thing. The lead-up to them reaching Terminus wasn't all that horrible, but then once they got there, the whole thing happened and was over so quickly that I felt cheated by it, like why the fuck did I sit through all this shit? Same thing with mullet-man and Washington. Same thing with Grady Hospital in Atlanta. It's like they wrote this shit, had a good idea for the story to begin with, then when the characters all get there, they just fucking ran out of ideas, scrapped it and tossed it aside quickly, and now they're moving on to whatever else - probably another long lead-up to something else, which will end quickly again and never develop. Basically, the show is starting to show a lot of patterns in the writing and is becoming predictable. They're talking about carrying this thing on for another 5 or more seasons? Shiyit, stereotypical ethnic ghetto-style individual! They keep doing this shit, and they might start seeing ratings drop off sharply.

On the other hand, Better Call Saul also premiered last night. Downloaded that one too and watched it. It's not Breaking Bad, but so far it's looking like another big winner. Supposedly it chronicles what happens with Saul Goodman 7 years prior to what happened in Breaking Bad, so I guess I'd expect them to probably shoot for a total of 5 to 7 "seasons" spread out over 6 or 7 years in this one just like Breaking Bad did. Which means I'll be fucking 40-something by the time this series ends. Fuck, I'm too old! I hope I live that long. Is it fucked up that when I make a list of pro's and con's for quitting smoking, one of the pro's is I might live long enough to keep watching a TV show? Only in America are we so shallow that we consider the best part of living longer to be the ability to watch more fucking television. God bless our lascivious obese spoiled asses.

well, i'm going to assume that the posters here have watched most, if not all the episodes. so 'm going to post a disclaimer and shift a bunch of text with a dotted divider so they get the drift, that beyond this point here ye forward: There may be spoilers. so with that said.. i'm probably going to sum up with what focalor said in my own words and add my twist to it.

ok, so the beginning with the survivors roaming from town to town looking for the CDC, then getting to a short lived safe house on a farm was interesting.Then, recovering from off the road to moving on to their long stay in a fortified prison , only to discover a rival nearby safe haven town with a crazy leader was getting real interesting. Then after a failed invasion he regroups with another gang of ragtag survivors only to do battle with the hardened rugged #teamrick yet again. now they're on the road again looking and wavering on their quest for DC and get caught in trouble along the way. yea i think when theygo for DC it may pickup again. the cast just got too much swaggert to pass up watching for the time being. killing off beth and tyrese really didn't make a whole lot of sense tthough. it is making it less appealing.. rant over.
