The Season 6 premiere of The Walking Dead on October 11 drew 19.5 million viewers with a staggering 12.84 million among adults 18-49 and a 10.1 rating. On a night where the AMC show faced a down but still strong Sunday Night Football, the numbers still brought home the bacon, up 33% and 36% respectively !!!

All those walkers stuck in that giant canyon was o_0 !
Rick insisted that the walkers needed to be drawn out because the increasing noise would only lure more to that vicinity. I noticed that the canyon was surrounded by a forrest....

Why couldnt they chop down trees, set them ablaze and just roll them into the canyon to own them all?
Im sure there could have been a better plan than to just herd them out like cattle.
Still, it was an awesome episode, with the black n white throw back mixed in with the present.

Did anyone notice that Carter is actually Rusty Griswold from Vegas Vacation? rofl!!!

He got his assssss handed to him at the end, screaming like a true jackasss.
I wanted him to live, i thought he was a good character who got depth rather quickly, but they offed him in a hurry.

Seems like Deana is slowly losing her humanity, or at least trying to emulate rick and his group. The rest of the town is still noob, as shown by rick and morgan had to save the group from a tiny gathering of walkers while they were prepping the herding plan. Its interesting to see how people who dont yet have the skill to survive are looked upon by those who earned their right to live.

focalor (eugene) almost died in the episode, but luckily, he was saved by the blessings of rick and co. Rick and Abraham continue to be my favorite characters on the show, with abraham delivering his unique comic relief and rick turning into john conner. Abraham's MOTHER DICK BITCH quote in season 5 may still be my favorite moment on this show lmfao!!!!

The ending was wtf...... but i guess now it sets up the entire season 6, with half a canyon of walkers headed for their sanctuary. Shit just got real in a hurry, theyre ganna have to flee i think, maybe not now but maybe by mid point or seasons end. I really want to know who the f set off that horn. If i recall, the end of season 5 showed that neo nazi group holding pictures of rick etc, so my guess is that they are some how involved.

Anyways, looking forward to another great season of this #1 rated show. WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!!!!!

WTF KIND OF EPISODE WAS THAT!????

THE PIECE OF CRAP GLEN FINALLY ATE SHIT LMFAO!!!!!

The entire episode i just had the feeling that he was going to die. The entire episode was one of death and doom and just without hope. The writers left the group in total chaos and collapse. Morgan appeared to be walking off away from the town?? Carol went psycho!!!

I understand Morgan's desire, that everyone is human, that we really are killing ourselves every time we end a threat, but i feel like hes trying to be an angel in hell. How this plays out is anyone's guess, but trying to heal humanity while still in the fog of war is a truly herculean task.

Getting back to Glen, I honestly believe that Glenn was bitter this episode, his acting was off and rightfully so. This guy has been there since episode 1, and I would have liked to have seen his character go out in better fashion.
Dying along side the guy who tried to hunt you down, collapsing into the river of walkers was brutal. The idiot jumped on the trash can yelling at this douche as if he had some plan LOL? and then Nicholas offs himself...
I guess over the last 2 seasons, Glenns character was slowly regulated from leadership into follower and slowly phased out. One of these episodes I may come to miss him, but not anytime soon. I believe his best episode involved Merl torturing him and unleashing a walker upon him while he was strapped to a chair. His will to survive catapulted him into star status and made me like him for a time. Unfortunately the writers never gave his character any more of these moments. Sux for him

The W people are fucking insane.... I dont even know if these people would even exist in a zombie apocalypse. They attacked the town without any guns and expected to win? Gtfo. Savages they were, lunatics, deranged madmen. Im glad the writers did not lengthen this group out to be a governor or cannibal season.

I did not like the ending of this episode, I did not like Rick being stuck in that goddam RV..... He better make it out of there, his character has way to much built up for him to die in a goddam trailer.

There was one scene in which morgan was tying the hands of a W lunatic, and right before carol shot him in the head, he stated "You dont need to be here any more, we've come to save you".... I wish she would have let him continue to speak....Did he have new information? Or was he just insane?

Overall, this was a pretty insane goddam episode.. the suffering, the loss, the carnage was overwhelming. I am beginning to wonder if they shouldve all just stayed in that scientists building in season 2 and let the bomb go off. So much pain and hardship in this zombie world, it is crazy.

But thats why this show is #1 and I cant wait to find out what the fuck happens next week and for the duration of this show.

He's not dead, you dope. Clearly the other guy landed on top of him and THAT'S who the zombies were ripping at. But they obviously did it that way to make the dumber people in the audience think, "Oh no, they killed Glenn!", and congratulations, you just outed yourself as a member of the dumbest percentage of the audience. They could kill Glenn off, or ANY member of the cast for that matter, at the drop of a hat. But... I seriously doubt they'd do it right now.

I kinda think Z Nation is better. It's less bullshit "drama", and the story is less "believable" (for whatever that's fuckin' worth in a clearly fictional zombie apocalypse that could never happen), but it's more fun. It's a little more along the lines of something that George Romero, the father/inventor of the zombie movie, would've done.

the son of a bitch landed amidst a sea of walkers.... there can be no way in hell that he survives....HOW CAN HE SURVIVE? I CALL BS if he does. They should leave him dead or risk tainting the series if he escapes. every side is surrounded with zombies, hes got a dead body on top of him (maybe) and no help anywhere nearby. If he lives I will be severely disappointed.

ive read the theories about him hiding under the dumpster or finding a sewer under the dumpster or managing to get up and jump in the dumpster.. all JUNK and improbable. He must die for the series to retain credibility!!!!!

If you wanted "credibility", in season 1 episode 1 when Rick woke up in the hospital and found a zombie for the first time, he would've taken a closer look at it and realized "Oh, that's not a living dead person, because it's medically and scientifically impossible for a dead person to get back up and start walking, so I must be dreaming." Then he would've woken up, jacked off, and ate a bowl of cereal while watching Barney Miller reruns on TV Land. Then he would've woken up from a dream inside of a dream AGAIN, because Barney Miller reruns don't even show on TV Land, you gotta watch one of the rural dumpty bumfuck channels probably hidden way up in the 400's on Dish Network. Which is pretty shitty. TV Land will show shit like Mary Tyler Moore and Wings (which I actually had a habit of watching back in the mid 90's after school when they'd air reruns of it before 5, fuck me I was strange), but they won't show some equally shitty stuff like Barney Miller, which had Abe Vigoda in it for a little while, which made it kinda cool in a way. Abe Vigoda is the shit.

I just spent 10 minutes looking through 86 pages of garbage in my Photobucket account to find this again. Worth it.

Morgan looked like such a noob that entire episode....they should never have killed that cheesemaker character.
I am highly suspicious of Morgans ability to remain steadfast against an ocean of people trying to survive by any means necessary.

This episode reminds me of that saying "a person is smart, but people are stupid"...

There is not enough time nor resources to divide and conquer those who are "lost" ... Morgan is going to have to find a balance, otherwise he's going to run into disaster!!

rofl the show is going to drag out this glen debacle for as long as it can...
i thought episode 5 was just alright, rick was tame, but deanna started losing it LOL! I did not like the lesbian scene, and the Maggie is a dum ass. This episode was too filler, nothing really advanced and overall disappointing. Why arent they burning the walkers at the gate using bow and arrows....

the previews for the next episode are interesting, showing darryl dragging a motorcycle without gas... looks good

Not saying it isn't possible for them to 86 him. Just not right now. If a main character's gonna die, you're gonna know it when it happens. To kill an important character off during a scene of pure innuendo and then finally reveal that "yeah, he's fuckin' dead" several episodes later... that'd just be awful story telling. Nobody does that.
