This week, FL/GA for the SEC east title.
FL will be favored, but the underdog has shattered the other teams season many times in the past.
I really don't consider GA an underdog, it all depends on which GA team shows up. I can't imagine GA not coming in fired up and ready to play.
SC outplayed FL in the first half, their defense was dominate. If the SC offense did not have 3 turnovers early, the game may have been different.
FL has been winning games in the second half which keeps me thinking that it will bite them in the ass.

FADER WATCHED A GAME OF FOOTBALL??!?!!
you should check out a maryland game, historically not the best of teams, but they're having their best season in awhile. I think their next few games are against clemson/fsu(top two teams in the conference likely..), and their last game is against UNC. prob not looking too good for MD on those games but they've done well the first half of the schedule :>
and screw the ravens. purple nut jobs.

Not to mention Ray Lewis is out for the season I think. Just about time for him to hang it up, I believe. 17 years in the NFL this year, probably longer than anyone else currently playing.

17 years might be an all-time record for someone who plays linebacker. Usually the only players who make it that long are Quarterbacks or Kickers. Jason Hanson kicker for Detroit has 21 years
I checked and I was surprized to see quite a few linebackers with 14-15 years in.
Ronde Barber of Tampa Bay has 16 years in, he just recently moved from cornerback to safety.

I was thinking Keith Brooking (former Falcon, former Cowboy, current Bronco) was another 16 year or more veteran, but he's actually only been in the league since 98 (14 years). I think he's supposed to be retiring after this year also. I wasn't too sad to see him leave Atlanta for Dallas back in 09 honestly. He's obviously still a semi-competent middle linebacker or else he wouldn't still have a starting job on a roster at Denver, but he's slowed down a little. I was laughing at Dallas a few years ago for signing him, especially after (if I remember correctly) that post-season loss they took against Brett Favre and Minnesota when Keith Brooking started whining like a crybaby to reporters after the game after Minnesota kept trying to pass the ball and run up the score late in the 4th when they basically already had the game won for sure.
That's
why I wasn't upset to see him leave Atlanta. He's got a little bit of reputation for being a whiney poor sport at times.

Alot of big games today, 8 of the top 14 teams play each other today.
I hope Okla puts it on ND. I love the see how red ND's coach gets when things go bad, I swear it looks like he is about to burst

The FL/GA game is going to be played in 20-25 mph winds, I hope this does not impact the gameplay to bad. I like to see games like this played in good conditions, that way the talent and coaching determine the outcome. I am hoping FL can pull it off, but in a rivalry game like this nothing is certain. GA has a very talented team but have lacked consistency, I hope they don't put it all together today

Georgia didn't "put it all together". They brought most of it to the game, but only put it on the field in bits and pieces at odd times. The Dawgs' offense sucked today, BIG TIME. That Malcolm Mitchell touchdown late in the game was the one and only time the offense was playing worth a shit. The rest of the time Aaron Murray was throwing the ball like he was drunk, inaccurate as shit. All game long I was figuring Florida was gonna pull off a late game comeback since they were the only team able to drive the ball and convert for first downs, but two heads up plays in the redzone by the defense at the ends of both halves slammed the Gators dicks in the door.
Oh yeah, this also happened today. Can you say, "ow"?

GA brought the defense. GA shutdown the FL run game and when Driskel went back to pass there was always pressure. I don't know how many times they sacked him, but I know it was a bunch. Murray did play like crap, his mistakes were not because of FL pressure either. FL was not putting near the pressure on him as GA put on Driskel. The overall stats are about even, mistakes were the difference in the game.
Murray was sloppy but FL turned it over 6 times.
GA should have an easy path to the east title from here, they play ole miss and auburn.
I would like to add - GA's Jones was a beast in that game, I think he caused half the turnovers himself. FL has a good defense, but does not have any standout stars. I have wondered how great they could be if they had a Clowney or Jones also.

Well part of the reason they aren't living up to their rank a lot of the time is because a lot of their star players from recent years are gone, players who technically should still be there, but left school early for the NFL. Brandon Boykin is no longer there, he's now playing for the Philadelphia Eagles, and he was UGA's star kick and punt returner. UGA's middle linebacker Akeem Dent was drafted to the Atlanta Falcons when Atlanta's MLB Curtis Lofton went to New Orleans. UGA lost their kicker too. Blair Walsh graduated and ended up going to Minnesota in the draft, and UGA's current kicker SUCKS FUCKING ASS!!! That dude misses PAT kicks... like... OFTEN! If Georgia's ever in a situation where they need a 40 or 50 yd field goal to win the game, they might as well pass it on 4th down and try to convert, because that asshole will NEVER kick it through. AJ Green, Orson Charles, Knowshon Moreno, tons of players from the last 4 years that have gone into the NFL. Considering how many NFL caliber players Georgia is turning out, it ain't all that surprising that they get ranked as high as they do at the beginning of every season. They keep losing more star players than they can bring in, so I'd predict that in the next year or two, you'll probably see UGA start having sub-500 seasons, especially once Aaron Murray is gone for the NFL.
Also...
At the beginning of the college football season, I remember RailWolf saying something to the effect of "Alabama - Oregon BCS Title Game!" After looking at the new rankings after this weekends games, that's starting to look entirely possible.
2012 NCAA Football Rankings (TOP 10) - Week 10 (Oct. 28)
Alabama (8-0)
Kansas State (8-0)
Notre Dame (8-0)
Oregon (8-0)
LSU (7-1)
Georgia (7-1)
Florida (7-1)
South Carolina (7-2)
Florida State (8-1)
Louisville (8-0)
