Any Tom Waits fans in here? Just got into him a little while ago with Rain Dogs & Mule Variations, and I'm really enjoying the change of pace.

Let's see, other than that... Definitive Jux has some great artists on their label: Aesop Rock, Mr. Lif, El-P, Murs, RJD2, Cannibal Ox, etc. I also like the Rhymesayers label, as well as Hieroglyphics new album.

Deftones, Pantera, Slayer, Ministry, classic rock (Allman Brothers, AC-DC) and other assorted forms of rock... I enjoy that as well. I don't enough about music to discern the difference between all of the types of rock and metal out there.

Besides this... there is the guilty pleasure section of my listening... Sade, Counting Crows, Dido, Crowded House, etc.

I also have a weakness for really good bluegrass.

I don't like new dimmu as much, they feel they have to make each new album a complete epic, and they're trying to do so with no real technical skill, they just sort of keep going over the same ground again and again. Plus old dimmu just sounds cooler.

The palladium's the shit. I saw GWAR there one time. Awesome show. Dying fetus opened, they were skull crushingly heavy. Their first song was Grotesque Impalement, which is awesome. I didn't stay in the pit long, because there were all these 300 pound 6 foot tall drunk dudes in slayer shirts. I weigh 120 pounds. I didn't even stand a chance.
