Yeah must be! Nothing wrong with having DJs. Unless you're old and/or boring. DJs add an extra perspective to the music (in some instances). But like I said, I'm not a big Slipknot fan, if at all (contrary to my avatar).

What sort of "Perspective" are you talking about here. I have seen/heard numerous bands with djs, and I have yet to see one where the DJ actually contributes anything valuable. Scratching has never worked with very many types of music, especially metal. Synths are hard enough to incorporate into a metal song, but scratching is almost impossible, given how non musical and free form it is, which is more or less the opposite of metal. It's kind of like mixing Parlaiment/Funkadelic with Dying Fetus. It just wouldn't work.

Well, similar to what I said in the post above this one, I have my own unique taste in music. Well, infact, I like alot of music. Maybe you are the one needing some perspective - learn to respect others taste in music. I never said your taste in music is shit, even tho most of the GAWR and other stuff you listen to I dont like.

AFI is a sad story.

I used to LOVE their stuff when i was like 13, I had 3 or 4 of their albums, all of which kicked ass. I never got to see them live, but I would have killed for the chance. One day I found out that AFI were going into the studio to make a new record. I was overjoyed of course, and counted down the days till the new record came out.  Finally, they released a single from it, and I downloaded it. But by the 10 second mark, i knew something was wrong. This was not the AFI I knew and loved, it was fucking SIMPLE PLAN or some shit. That's right, they went from an awesome hardcore act, to preteen pussy-punk OVERNIGHT. It's pretty shitty when your favorite band in the world all of a suddenly starts sucking.
