I download and listen to full albums mostly, its easier and far less tedious than searching for 1 mp3 at a time, but I like audioslave/bush/silverchair/alice in chains/smashing pumpkins/offspring/days of the new/greenday/white stripes/guns n roses/local h/too many to mention, but if you want some current stuff, I think these albums were the best this year, but sadly thats not saying much....

offspring - greatest hits
white stripes - get behind me satan
foo fighters - in your honor
green day - american idiot

as for some of my favorite albums period...

days of the new - days of the new
nirvana - unplugged
silverchair - frogstomp
local h - as good as dead
audioslave - audioslave
sponge - rotting pinata

I used to listen to a lot of metal when I was younger too but I guess I kinda grew out of that

Now listening to (for maybe the 3rd or 4th time in a row):

Primal Scream - Swastika Eyes.mp3

One really great song, it's hard, it's agressive and repetitive and lasts for 7 minutes. Rock and house/rave in a beautifully raw mix. I hate house/rave or whatever, but to me this song is perfection. Must be played really loud though, so it hurts. Primal Scream has made some horrible music indeed, but when they are good they are great.

Oh, and be sure you don't get the crappy chemical brothers mix. There are two mixes of the song on the album (XTRMNTR), and the first one totally owns that mix.

AHHHHH yes avenge sevenfold put on an awesome show this year at warped tour !! i was impressed i think they played the loudest as well or that was just the beer kickin in. ???
