v for vendetta was pretty good.

But.... (VENT)

that end scene where she finally kisses him before he dies, WTF why didn't she remove his mask???
she just kissed the mask, how gay was that?!?! that pissed me off

he's in love with her, she could have at least gave him a real kiss, one he could feel!

x2, x-men2, i've seen it before, really underrated, the first one was good to, third was ok imo.

i give it a 8.5/10

The Number 23 the other day
with Jim Carrey.

It wasn't that bad, it kept my interest

Written by Philip K Dick a very very strange film all done in a very trippy animation over film style. Almost as good as the book. Dick's inspiration for this film came apparently from his personal experiences of doing too much drugs with a group of friends in the 60's. Another great performance by Keanu Reeves who gradually loses his mind and identity over the course of the film. The constant shifting disguise suit worn by some of the detectives in the film was mesmerising and must have taken ages to produce.

A fascinating film, a bit heavy going, definately has to be seen.

good choice Toxicmonkey

certainly one of the few movies I would recommend to the people at tastyspleen --thought provoking, funny, involving and clever like Fight Club ,Snatch or Naked Lunch --- perfectly cast with the only detractors being that it was written in the late seventies so although ahead of its time it is also dated material that we all have been beaten over the head with for years and the rotoscoping (animation drawing over the real life film) could be annoying to some.
More pointed than Kurt Vonnegut not as depressing as William Burroughs and not as black comedy as Hunter S. Thompson --- one of PDK's most rounded and personal works.

RE:3

I liked it because I ike zombie movies. It was kind of like mad max meets dawn of the dead. As far as the plot of the original games I'm told that it has nothing to do with any of them at all. That's fine with me because if I wanted a story line I'd watch a movie. Hey check it out they did make a movie and I liked it.

Valentine in RE:2 literally was the worst actig job I've seen in my life. That actress almost ruined an otherwise awesome movie. She wasn't in RE:3 which made the game fans complain. But think of it this way. You're characters in the games never use the bathroom and you never care to miss it. Valintine in RE:2 was like using the bathroom. She was thankfully missing from RE:3.

Overall it was a massive rip off of Day of the Dead, however it was better than Day of the Dead simply because it was a big budget movie and the special effects are obviously better.

8/10 as compared to RE:2
