Each time I was pressing "next" I am thinking, y'all BETTER not have UNC on here.. hahaha
It seems more like lets hate on the basketball schools list opposed to an accurate worst major programs list.. although several are pretty bad.
The season is right around the corner now, I have really good seats to UNC v. NCSTATE already.

Blugh. It's all bullshit. If being .500 or below for your programs entire history qualifies you for bottom 10, then I think more than 10 schools would be on that list. Maybe not, because I haven't looked at such stats, but it sounds reasonable. Other than purely mindless "fun facts", such a thing really proves nothing anyway in my opinion. Some of the schools have been playing football since before 1910, and back then it was damn near a completely different game. So fuckin' what if Kentucky sucked back in 1903. The athletic departments of these schools get TONS of money, even the ones known for sucking at football year after year. Some have more than others. And they all have to divide that money between the different sports. Some choose to spend more on football, some choose to spend more on basketball, some choose to spend more on baseball, some choose to spend more on equestrian sports, etc. The ones that HAVE more and SPEND more on football typically contend for titles and major bowls more often than the others. The NCAA regulations "try" to keep it as fair as possible, but... not really. When Alabama is paying Nick Saban abso-fuckin-lutely OBSCENE amounts of money to keep coaching, a good bit more than any other coach is getting paid (especially whoever's coaching Kentucky), then yeah, they've got one of the smarter tougher coaches who's gonna produce more wins... especially since they recruit as hard as they do. And the more wins you get, the easier it is to recruit good talent. No one worth a shit who's destined for the NFL wants to spend their college years losing badly unless it's their only option to play.
But yeah. Little over a month and football season starts. Dunno if I'm looking forward to it though. Hopefully Georgia's worked with Hutson Mason enough to get him doing better than he was at the end of last season after Aaron Murray got sidelined. Haven't looked too hard at any of the newbies on the team yet other than the QB's, none of which will play this year unless something freakish happens. And as for the Atlanta Falcons... holy shit. Guess I at least have "something"...
anything
... to look forward to with them. Because I don't see how they could get any worse than they were last year. They string together some decent seasons, seriously contend for a spot in the SuperBowl, and
finally
the sports media starts giving them some respect and credit when discussing them... and then they shit all over it. Same shit, different day.

I don't worship the devil. Jesus is Lord, friend. He died for your sins. He will forgive you if you just ask.
