Also to add to my post since I can't edit my own posts (quadz raped me), I did try PM'in Alex here on the forums a few days ago and haven't heard anything back.  So it's prolly safe to say without a doubt he won't return for the draft for sure.

A "certain" banned member... I see no reason to protect the suspected identity of someone who wants to pull dick moves by verbally committing to play and then never playing.

And I'd suggest it's not the name of a song. It's a quote from the movie Bladerunner. Bladerunner quotes (seems like someone was posting shit off the Bladerunner soundtrack around here not long ago)... a page mentioning My Bloody Valentine (seems like someone around here is a fan of their horrible music)... See where I'm going with this?

Since he has went MIA and is making us scramble to find a decent replacement and isn't answering my PM's, I'd almost like to know .  Wish he woulda stuck it out or I almost wonder if he just signed up to mess with the draft.  Who knows til we know who it is I guess

It wasn't for identity protection of the banned person, just avoiding giving them attention if they're looking for it.

As it stands I have nothing concrete to go on (the IP wasn't in any public proxy lists I could find, etc.)

So I simply don't know who it was.

I kind of expected some people to just up and drop off the face of the Earth when it came time to actually play. People pull that kind of shit all the time, especially in all the Euro leagues.

Playing in leagues and drafts is a small commitment. I guess some people don't realize that you need to be present and available and just sign up because they think they're helping the community by being a part of something. Here in realityland, you're hurting it by inconveniencing both the admins and the players by not showing any interest when it actually starts, or just not showing up altogether.

When you sign up, actually fucking follow what's happening.

I can't play with this ping. I only have today and tomorrow off and maybe Thursday.  I need to do a traceroute but east servers play fine as I just played someone.
