Life is too short to decide whether or not every idea we encounter in life is worth believing in. That is why it's only worth considering and/or believing in things that you can criticize or disprove. This is why I think believing in religion is a waste of time because the concept of a God is not testable.

Nice Job / Good Work Nice Job / Good Work

I've been watching the past couple of days this documentary on the Bulletin Board System, which predated the internet. It is essential a compilation of interviews of former BBS innovators and users, which narrate the history and experience of the BBS. I'm only half way through the whole documentary, which is really long and divided up into sections.

Anyway, I thought I might want to share this with others here. Perhaps some people here even have found memories. Personally, I never knew about this back then and I rarely used a computer until the 2000s, but it's fascinating to know how the "internet" was back then.

why not just have all novice brackets thats pretty much what the us tdm scene is anyway

There's too much of a skill gap with the people left playing, but I might try one bracket anyway since there are some only half-interested people and there seems to be enough to start this thing. I just want to see some action in NADL without another failure if possible. ; )

Maybe try two next time. Just depends if the people I'm thinking of will say yes for the novice bracket. Hopefully they say yes. ; )
