Don't really want to cast per say..but if you there was going to be some sort of novice tourney going on I wouldn't mind pointing out some shit here and there to think about..maybe some others can do the same..for whoever gives a shit anymore

the novice only tourney was kinda an idea i was reminded of thinking back to cpma cups

they had a "noobs anonymous" 1v1 tourney to try and promote new players getting into dueling because as bad as you think you can get steam rolled in any other quake (besides qw) it is worse with a skill gap in cpma lol


and adren you forgot about xcr, he been playing quite a bit lately and some one playing as "worm" who claims to be an old schooler... after playing him, my money is on him being bonzai, he plays the EXACT same way...

for novice level players there is people like 2dum, golgo, steveo, higgins(scoobydoo), and ero that weren't mentioned


i mean yeah, we could do two brackets... but the novice one would get overshadowed a bit in that case... me haunted slugs and fader can shit talk each other all day long, thats nothing new and not going to change no matter who wins, but would be the center of attention

with a novice only cup, the stars of the situation would be the newer or less skilled players, and it would be more fun without the "serious" shit talk you get from the more seasoned 1v1 players (though the shit talk would be comedic when it does come up!)


perhaps two brackets could be split up between two different weekends so each one gets enough attention (if casted), giving new players an event all to themselves, while giving seasoned players something fun to aim for

Yes that is the plan Vae, to have them at different dates. Personally, I hope either bracket gets played. I'd see this event as a success if that was the end result.

I don't know if you remember but one day ero was talking something about committing suicide (deleting q2) and I haven't seen him after that so I believe he did it.

The other not mentioned players that I can see dueling are: random aka furmom and the oldschooler grimlock

There's too much of a skill gap with the people left playing, but I might try one bracket anyway since there are some only half-interested people and there seems to be enough to start this thing. I just want to see some action in NADL without another failure if possible. ; )

Maybe try two next time. Just depends if the people I'm thinking of will say yes for the novice bracket. Hopefully they say yes. ; )
