The remaster/rerelease has a Game Modifier -> Random Weapons ("g_dm_random_items") setting that seems to switch out weapons every so often. It also switches out armors/powerups to other items of various usefulness like the silencer and Dualfire Damage from the Reckoning expansion.
This seems to be adapted from the original code in the Rogue/Ground Zero expansion which uses the "randomrespawn" cvar, with an improvement so it works with Weapons Stay. I can't seem to find any other modifiers for it though. Somewhat related but not quite what you're looking for, I remember a mod called NIQ - No Items Quake. As the name implies, it removes items from the map and instead spawns everyone with a random weapon for a configured duration.

I've no idea what I'm doing at all, but somehow I was able to get the hook and runes part of Lithium working in the remaster:

I'm also not active in Discord, so I've no idea if someone was already working on this. But this was more of a personal project to see I could get something to work rather than having the philanthropic goal of trying to convert something for the community...

these things make the dm portion of the game just stupid.. I don't know whats worse... and on top of that 16 players is way too many for these maps haha. I don't want to rant but wow!

what kind of griefing is even possible. If you harass and insult players only because they ping high and aren't from the US and claim that they ruin the server, and you do this every time you see them I call this griefing. and this sort of thing... ... for you to act as such was immature and unprofessional......I heard from others that panjoo is a troouble maker, not sure why hes allowed to harrass players like he does...... The entire goal of this guy is to try to discredit me, look at his choice of words. And he does the same while being in the server, it's slander and it's not harmless. It sure feels like this isn't just about this particular mymap instance. What trouble am I making, besides talking back to obvious trolls sometimes? This might be one of his former(?) IP's: 107.145.132.*** Plz search some logs to see what this guy has been saying to people from outside the US. The playername database indicates you spoofed the "Funny AF" playername (38 hours ago, now.) The only reason I used the name Funny AF for like 1 second and immediately disconnected was to cancel out his egotistic mymap routine. I'm sure you will remember that guy dvnation.com on vanilla, with his endless mymap cycles of koth6, fact3, biggun, etc. That was pure mymap abuse and it pissed many people off. If you actually checked the log of this particular instance you would have seen that before the map changed I typed a 'nextmap' showing campgrounds next in line, and he answered with something like: 'your favorite.' The fact that this guy again tries to make me look like someone who's always abusive only confirms that this is the guy I was talking about. You are comparing a persistant scriptkid spoofing my name for months and talking smack to others with my name and jumping in lava 1,000 times/day, with what I did to skip his mymap due to a bug, one time.
