Got into the MUTANT server and the framerates were good.

Just too much volumetric lighting or excessive blooms. Everything glowed and it was like playing in fog.

I gotta admit, QuakeIIXP has the best multiplayer performance I've seen on a high res client, nice job Barnes :thumbsup:

sometimes to replace weapon models i'd have to UNPACK the pak file of the replacement. Quake2 is bass ackwards i know

repack to zip and rename to q2xp3.pkx
Also, I found a bug, the female and cyborg sounds don't work...
oh yes its old sound engine bug (try snd_restart)
