I look at the work that is presented and it is so beautiful.

Is it practical? Can I use the berserk engine and play on tasty:Mutant?

Got into the MUTANT server and the framerates were good.

Just too much volumetric lighting or excessive blooms. Everything glowed and it was like playing in fog.

Turn off bloom.

I gotta admit, QuakeIIXP has the best multiplayer performance I've seen on a high res client, nice job Barnes

there some trick to getting the high-res weapon model pak to work with q2xp? Doesn't work for me, but if I run r1q2 it shows.

q2xp is sweeeeeet looking.

sometimes to replace weapon models i'd have to UNPACK the pak file of the replacement. Quake2 is bass ackwards i know

it's in a pak file. do i just change the extension?

is it worth noting that the high-res textures i got from a link on the q2xp site work?

repack to zip and rename to q2xp3.pkx

oh yes its old sound engine bug (try snd_restart)
