that was the alias manipulator told the_king to use when he was playing with us in underground clan for 2005 nadml.  it was an old school elite players name from zone, totally different person than the_king.

I forgot to mention grimlock also, who came back to q2 in 2005 and joined underground with us.  He was a sick hpb back in the day.

I was playing with rizzy , bf-22 , khan , redeye , cl0ud7 , wallers like newbie hct-rage also known as a1capone to you newbs who dont know your quake 2 , seanity or unity , nogame , old school pyr3x , k|kard3n aka f0cus , k|nigma . Players i have fucked up with high ping are khan , rage and i was aliased there, unity i was 120 ping at a friend's in Tennessee , f0cus , and beaten pyr3x plenty of times with high ping , and killaklown , and skullfukced and confuzed. I've beaten good lpb's with high ping . Your list of newbie ass zoners that nobody knows because they are nobodies doesnt mean shit.

Uh blood, I went to the zone and owned people and talked shit there for fun.  I didnt play there 24/7 like alot of people.  I played mostly on jades garden gx server back in 97-98 when I was in VD.  All those players you mentioned who you've beat (which I highly doubt, anyway) are all new school.

September 1999 was the end of old school q2.  This was when q3 was released and all the top players went and played q3, or moved on and played other games like eq (this is where I went).  Now that the oldschool elite players were gone, the new top tier clans were people like HcT and b|d etc.  NOBODY in oldschool q2 had ever heard of cloud7, redeye, unity, nogame, doze rizzy ETC ETC the list goes on and on because they were 3rd tier players then.  Then miraculously when q3 is released and the top people jet, all of those people you named become the top tier.

I highly doubt you beat all those people, but even if you did it really doesnt mean much.  You like to claim oldschool, but if you didnt play on jades teaming with people like Power3D and Jmaster, then you werent oldschool.  Sorry kiddo

bf22 was in clan BX.  Bitch Xterminators.  2nd tier clan back in the day, they held #1 on ogl for a while if I remember correctly but the top tier of players never were on the ogl ladder.  We played pgl and liga.net

isn't it funny that blood and granny both claim being old school, yet there's so many inaccuracies in their stories about it? lol. Granny said that he's been playing naym ever since q2 came out and they've always been 2 of the best, LOL. At least granny tried to be funny though, the funny part is that blood's serious. I remember when me and blood were both hpb 5 years and IM'd me and was like 'OMG, I just outchained pyrex and got a frag on him!! Something is wrong with B100D, I always knew he was a goof just from reading posts on q2players.org and here, but never really got the first hand experience (since i rarely played tdm up until about a week ago).  Although according to B100D I've been playing  TDM as long as him, lol!  Which is also funny because he accused me of using an alias, when i was playing as "justin" which is what I have been using for the past year, so if you haven't seen me around, maybe it's because I play ra2 and ctf? :<.  Anyways, back to my main point, I really think B100D has something wrong with him, some kind of mental disease, although I'm sure he'll never tell us.  Anyways, I hope he stays around, was pure comedy playing with him last night.  I wonder if he'll ever realize he doesn't make anyone mad, and that everyone is laughing at him, not with him

Nybar could talk about afterdeath clan and playing NM, and eP could talk about how one day on a server canine clan 4v4'ed dz(nogame,bf22,doze,khan -- the players Bl00D cites) and just humiliated them. Trust me, I'm a HUGE fan of bf22's rail and play and Doze certainly emerged as the pro he is, but they most definitely are NOT oldskool.

Did that really happen?  I have no doubt that k9 would totally clown dz, but k9 was done with q2 years before dz was ever formed.  Who all was in NM?  Only dude I can remember is t0wer,  but they had that cool flash webpage with the eyes on it.  atomic punks had a cool flash webpage too.

Too bad that q2 was fractured into communities then, almost a coastal thing with abuse and k9 doing their own thing in cali, later xeno,etc on east coast. 

west side was the best of the coasts by far.  Only good clans east had was IA and DH, maybe xeno to a lesser extent.  West was DR, UV, VD, Lcg, abuse, canine list goes on and on.  They were very far ahead in terms of skill.  I lived in central and was on 33.6k, then got ISDN.  But I always played on the west servers like jades and hal9000's
