I'm interested in seeing these demos.  even if i had beaten immortal or reptile before i wouldnt dare claim it without the demo in my possession.  shouldnt be hard to contemplate

personally I believe him, but it doesn't mean anything, i've beaten good players - it doesn't mean very much.  you play someone 1,000 times, and you can steal one here and there.

You beat blood and granny reaper, both upper tier players. However, both of these players are completely BRAINLESS when in comparison to maka or unholy.

i never bought into that the old players are so much better than the new players, if anything I think the new players have more experience, so there better at the game.

Oldschool is the best school.  Watch that demo of thresh vs immortal on dm3 that I posted.  Its from 1998 and look at the corner and flick rails immortal hits, its crazy.  This was long before wallhacks existed, and all players used a ball mouse, not the optical lasers that we use today.

If someone was railing today like immy did in that demo, you can bet your ass they would be called a bot/waller etc.


Of course most players today will have better aim than the players did back then, due to new hardware and just more playtime experience.  However when I compare myself in 97 or 98 to today, I can definitely tell that I played alot smarter back then.  Nowdays I just rely on speed/aim

I'm not going to comment on the time krez references, because when people were playing on jade garden I was still playing on a laptop, software mode.

But Luci:

You aren't good, and you weren't as good as you claim.

Even after the q3 exodus, you weren't good enough to beat me on any map except dm3, and you couldn't beat other west hpbs like smokin either.  We're talking about '2nd tier' players here, I could beat some of the NM guys, but wasn't as good as the DH / ad guys, and I could still beat you.  Just stop talking like you were super good, because even on west, you weren't.

And I still have demos of me beating you on more than one map, so I don't want to hear crap about me making this up.
