Well, I've gone through quite a few, I made these screenshots to put
in the same thread in different forums a while back now, oldest to newest:





I had this next one for AGES!:


...and then I changed to this which I had for 1-3 months or so (I'm afraid
I don't have a screenshot but I still have the original image) it is a fractal
which I made in some fractal program, can't remember what.
Here's the link to it because it's a BMP and people would get angry if they
had to load a BMP off this page because they're so much bigger than JPGs:

My current desktop looks like this. I've arranged the windows so they don't
cover any icons , if you look at the tray and icons you can see a lot has changed
in a few months:


The background is a texture I made, it is of my carpet, it's for a Quake 2 map
of my room I was making. After being with the one before, I thought I needed
something calmer ^_^

I use the "prt scr" key, paste it in image editor and save.

Faster? I've never seen any of my pics load slow, and Imageshack doesn't support more formats, it just converts those to .png.  Plus photobucket gives you 1500MB of bandwith a month, way more than enough for anything, I've never run out and I got pix all over the place, Including the couple on my geocities site.  Imageshack only give you 100MB an hour.
