well she probably should of phrased the quote differently. but I think she meant "the poor people living by the philosphy of jesus christ have improved humanity". so instead of giving up or turning to crime, they forgave people, and continued to good through the power of their philosphy.

And provides compelling evidence--including M. Teresa's own admission--that it wasn't lack of funds that was preventing medical relief from being administered to her patients, but her own conviction that their suffering was somehow beneficial.

If that is true, shame on her. But I'm personally not ready to jump to any conclusions. Could be an athiest conspiracy. After all, why have any medical care to begin with, if the suffering is good anyway.
