if the Quake 1 remaster is anything to go by, then id guess it wont be compatible with any of the Q2 ports etc, so highly doubt you could use it to join any TS servers, altho that would be great if it was possible.

A pity, really... That sucks!
note: command deprecated, use kexmultiplayer command insteadusage: connect <server>
Because a lot of movement quirks in Quake II were indirectly caused by the compression, these behaviors were retained. Trick jumping is now an explicit movement type, to allow for things like the Mega Health box jumps to still work. Some fixes were made, like jumping higher below the 0 z point of the map.
The best thing to do is port over quake 2 n64 to the vanilla game to run on source ports like yamagi or q2pro and host server running the exclusive 10 multiplayer maps from n64 game.make this happen someone please
I don't know if anyone has the answers yet, but I have a few questions about the re-release that I was hoping to get some info on:1) Is OpenGL supported with the re-release or only software mode?2) Can you use an autoexec.bat on the re-release?3) Is there a listing of the new console commands anywhere? Thanks for any information.
