People are really starting to get hyped on Miami. I would too, if I was a fan because they've definitely improved. But they're getting a tad carried away..

We don't have much to go by, but..

UNC beat syracuse 31-6
Georgia tech beat FSU 16-13
syracuse beat ga tech 37-20
Miami beat Louisville 47-34
Pitt beat louisville 23-20
Miami beat FSU 52-10

Everything seems to be going about how I expected, only Miami putting up more points than I thought perhaps.

I know it ain't halftime yet.....

But, I like Georgia's choice in QB. He has some learning to do, but I think you got a kid with a lot more heart and work ethic than fromm.

And another 7. Yeah. Not a typical choice for qb for Georgia but I like his story. He makes mistakes, but he isn't sloppy. So much for those low scoring games with tough teams that Georgia fans are used to.

Georgia is starting a walk on kid(5th string qb), who later transferred to a FCS school, then came back to Georgia on scholarship. He's never been in the spotlight. I think you finally got a kid with a chip on his shoulder that'll do well in the collegiate level. Kirby probably kicking himself in the ass. Sometimes those SEC dudes can be dense over natural ability

Defense was pretty okay though. Wasn't expecting that. That corner did really well, but he was getting away with some fairly blatant shit. They also gave Georgia some generous spots on 3rd downs at least twice.

LOL. Maybe it's just me, but many Texas fans seem to have blinders on that only let them see how good Texas is doing. In their football worldview, no one else exists but them.

Georgia did a little better against Tennessee than I thought they would. I figured it would've been a 7 or less point difference. Final was 44 to 21. Georgia plays Alabama next week I think. Last two games, Alabama's scored over 50 points. Should be a good one. I think if Georgia can get a 14 or 21 point lead in the first half, they can probably slug it out in the 2nd half and hold on to win. Alabama always does a good job of changing things up and coming back if they get clobbered in the first half. It seems like rushing is what they owe the better part of their +50 scoring to, and Georgia seems to be pretty good this year at stopping long runs, so who knows how it'll play out.

LSU lost to Missouri.

It's a wild season so far. I made a post in a different group before NC VT kickoff saying a shorter version of this: UNC's offense has to show up today, the defense can't bail them out this time. Their best safety(actually 2nd best, #1 safety has been out since week 2), their best corner(5*) and their best DT are all out. Sure enough... that happened. Although JESUS CHRIST. Talk about VT whipping out every damn gimmick and trick play....and SUCCEEDING. Lol... onside kicks(yes, plural) in the 3rd quarter recovered, double reverses, everything. They were also selling the SHIT out of pass interference calls. It was definitely frustrating how bad they wanted to win lol. UNC could've tacked on an extra 14 at the end and hit 70. They ended the game taking a knee @ first and goal with 2 minutes left. VT players wanted to brawl at the end, flags everywhere.

UNC's offense was pretty good. 2 rushed for 150+. Defense wasn't good, but I kinda saw that coming. Miami finally got their reality check.

Georgia Tennessee, lol. Talk about first half adjustments, or lack thereof in Tennessee's case. Among all this chaos, I think it's pretty clear that Clemson is #1 in the nation. But if I had to pick a #2 I'd go with Georgia. At least for now. Alabama has massive defense issues, offense looks great though. Georgia has excellent defense, and some kinks to work out on offense but nothing glaring. I think Georgia beats bama at least 2 out of 3 games, but it doesn't mean saban won't beat his assistant when it counts, unfortunately. We'll see, I'll be definitely rooting for Georgia haha.
