Lmao. I'd be pissed if that happened to NC. Mack has them very well disciplined. I was surprised to see them flipping the U upside down in the cameras yesterday lol. After the whole horns down debacle, stuff like that can land you in trouble.

ND would have to beat Clemson and Florida would have to beat Alabama for them to have a small chance at the playoffs now. We all know ohio state is going to roast northwestern going 6-0 against opponents with a .35 winning average or so.

I hope USC loses tonight to Oregon. Seeing people act like they're a playoff contender is absurd.

A scenario that affects the teams of the three posters here:

If Clemson beats Notre Dame, north Carolina is locked in the orange bowl. Their most likely opponent is texas a&m. Things that could change this up:

-if northwestern beats ohio State
-if tennessee breats texas a&m

Ohio State should win likely, but NC's opponent is basically the best non-playoff big 10/SEC. If tennessee wins then Florida and Georgia are the obvious ones that come to mind. If alabama tears florida up, then Georgia goes. If Florida plays alabama evenly and barely loses, then it's gonna be close. If Florida somehow defies odds and wins then that's chaos.

Obviously if Notre Dame 2-0s Clemson then UNC's out of that bowl. But I think Clemson will win. And NC's most likely(and only) opponents as of now in order are probably:

1. Texas a&m
2. Georgia
3. Florida
4. Ohio State

I could perhaps mention Indiana but there's no way. It's those 4 in descending likelihood. Obviously I'd love northwestern to beat OSU and give me my dream matchup, but that's the least likely

Damn. Trevor Lawrence whipped ND's ass a little too hard. The committee loves ND, but after that shellacking....I don't know. If ND is forced out of the playoffs then they'll get the orange bowl over NC.

Whatever. I don't like ND as much as the next person, but I was looking forward to UNC playing someone good. They'll still get a decent game but it might be cinci/cc/Indiana now.

+Florida did hang with alabama
+Clemson beat ND by 24, although it was worse than that number if you watched it.

So it made the committee's decision tougher. With both the playoffs and the orange bowl. I think they love ND so much that ND will get the #4 spot.... That is the most likely outcome at least.... maybe. Texas a&m's resume is more deserving. But the committee may use the Florida Alabama game result against Texas a&m a bit to favor ND. It's how you finish, right? Jimbo's only loss was to Alabama but he got destroyed. And ND went undefeated in the ACC(without playing Virgina tech, nc state, or Miami). It'll be bullshit, but nc might still be a part of the biggest bowl because of it. . .

The analysts at espn think ND is the #4 seed in the playoffs. Everyone still has NC in the orange bowl, but it's split on who the opponent is. Texas a&m or florida.

Also, all of UNC's all ACC first team players are opting out of the orange bowl for the draft. I guess my school's program is legit now?

Florida Gators

I don't consider this a real game, Florida had 9 players opt-out of this game (including their top 4 receivers)

Trask threw 3 picks, but I think most of that had to do with throwing to guys who he has not worked much with.

I understand that it is a business decision for these players, but it still sucks for the rest of the team and the fans.
