I don't agree with some of these rankings, but It is early and these really don't mean much.

At some point they gotta learn to throw this shit in the trash between seasons. Supposedly nobody's gonna vote you into the playoffs because of anything that happened LAST year. And yet even pre-season rankings can keep schools hovering around the top with 1 loss, while a previously unranked school can go undefeated and not have the opportunity to pass 1-loss schools who've managed to stay in the top 10 or 15 for 2 seasons. Eh, sometimes it's fair cuz it's a piss ant school from a piss ant conference with nothing but piss ant competition is gonna get flattened by someone like Alabama. But sometimes, those schools are good enough to give a top 5 team a real fight.

Hell, I think he's doing great.

Can't talk too much shit though. I only appreciate the fact that other ACC teams lose because it at least gives Georgia Tech any hope at all of getting somewhere.

Hadn't even given a fuck to check schedules until just now. Apparently both my schools are getting freebies for week 1. Georgia Tech's hosting Alcorn State and Georgia's hosting Austin Peay. Good fucking lord, man. Give me a fucking REASON to watch. This shits gonna be over before it starts.

Then again, I have faith that Georgia will play lazy as fuck rather than abso-fucking-lutely demolish them like Alabama would do, which is why Alabama gets better consideration in rankings. They don't just beat the easy ones, they fucking eviscerate them like they said some dirty shit about their mommas.

Next weekend though... football season's already here? Really? Shit, man, this year's gone by like a fuckin bullet train.

I've complained about him on here several times. But, the guy was way more normal and nice as can be than I expected. That honestly made me like him......in a way

NC puts so much money into football and always comes up short. Despite all the sanctions on recruiting(this year is the first recruiting class unhindered by it) unc winds up with all these star players but still has never been able to put shit together. I think I made that post 2 years ago that showed how UNC was 5th in producing talent to the NFL, but obviously they've never been ranked 5th. I know a lot of teams deal with similar issues, Georgia is known for it even though last year was a great year. But pound for pound no one disappoints quite like NC 

As for those rankings, probably 15-20 of the 25 deserve to be in there. They sort of cycled the top two teams of each conference division then threw in independent and threw in ucf, Boise, etc. The order is definitely wrong but most of those teams are probably top 25.

Those logos look so similar it's ridiculous, but after googling and seeing the minor differences you're right. There was only two reasons for me posting that, I THOUGHT that was a georgia logo and I couldn't believe how off-center the sticker was. Had nothing to do with the message.

UNC down 14-0. Each touchdown directly from an interception. 1st string qb suspended from selling air Jordans. The defense is surprisingly playing well

UNC is a joke without the 13 players that are suspended. I have excellent tickets to UNC GA Tech. Looks like I'll be leaving mid way through the 3rd quarter.

Georgia Tech shut out Alcorn. Pretty sad when a school like Alcorn gets a GIFT FROM GOD like a major game vs a school like Georgia Tech with their minor conference run option playbook and then they can't even score ONE SINGLE POINT in the game. Didn't see that coming. Good for GT doing some dominating for once.

Georgia shut out Austin Peay. I was not worried that they'd lose this one. I was not worried that it would be close at all. What I was worried about was that Georgia would play kinda lazy towards the end and not shut them out like they SHOULD. My argument is that Alabama doesn't show any mercy to these freebie win schools, they run up the score as high as possible and hold them to ZERO, and that's why they get such favorable consideration in rankings and playoff seedings.

This Appalachian State vs Penn State game has me befuddled though. GO APP STATE!

After tonight's 53-6 win, the Gators are back.  Bring on UGA, bring on Bama, bring anybody in the country.

Man I actually bet a lot on app state covering the spread. It was like 40 something?! Easiest bet I've ever made. Out of ALL the smaller school upset teams, they are by far the most notorious. Combine that with the first game of the year for penn state, easy money!

NC ended up losing 24-17, first game and 4 time zones away. 5 interceptions I believe? One cal player had two.

The NCAA let Fedora pick and choose which 4 games each of the 13 suspended players miss. He's focusing on them being present more so for conference games probably. The 2nd string qb is terrible. NC used to have the most depth at the qb position. I miss the days when Mitch Trubisky was 2ND STRING.
