If you continue to post in this fashion it will become 100% obvious to the server admins that you are trying to waste their time, which as a practice is generally frowned upon and tends to earn people a little time away to think about what they've done. Hint Hint.

3. Type tastyspleen.net into Host field
4. Press "Start"
5. Wait 15 minutes (or about 900 packets in the Sent column)
6. Press "Copy Text to clipboard"
7. Paste in forum thread

To help diagnose the network lag you'll of course want to gather the stats during the time(s) of day you've indicated the lag usually occurs.

Except that I stopped posting in that "fashion". And moved to joking around with foc only.  But unbeknownst to me (and others), Quad had issued an ultimatum to provide specific types of data or else.   This was never explicitly communicated. And once everyone slammed me saying it was the net not the server I naturally assumed no data was needed.   What was the point?    So the admin is actually not too cool in this situation.   I suggested a new approach above.

Just checked.   Still not able to connect though.  The proposed deal was unban then I provide, As you gave no prior notice of any intent to ban if data was not provided.   Nor did it seem necessary in light of the general consensus that the net in general was the problem.  Clearly a ban under such circumstances is unwarranted and entirely unprecedented here.

Even x thought quad is being unreasonable in this instance.   Quad banned for not providing data not for asking for a reboot and then backing off the request.    What a tough crowd here.   Geez.  Relax people.   

Here's what happened in a nut shell.  I asked for a reboot since in my mind a reboot was no big deal.   I was told it was a big deal and stop asking since the server was fine.  I annoyed people by pointing out that it couldn't hurt to try regardless.   I was then yelled at that it would hurt or something to that effect.  I tried to humorously respond.  Then foc and I then left that topic and moved on to making fun of each other.   Than all of the sudden quad comes back in and says where's the data?   When nobody cared anymore except apparently quad and I was no longer worried about ping or lag and had so said. 

For some reason quad jumped in between foc and I.   Like it was wrong to not continue the thread per the original topic.    Hey I had moved on from that.  Can't a thread just devolve? 

Wow im a horrible person.  Put me up there with the Taliban and bin laden.  Touchy folks here.  Didn't realize was dealing with such sensitive folks.
