keeping everyone in one place means they always know where the game is and can all hop in and have fun if there was two servers, you might even get stupid shit like 3 people on both servers going "WE NEED A FOURTH" and since it is 3 people on each server instead of 6 on one, they all just give up and disconnect :/ (have actually seen that happen more than once for a few mods...)

the acme TMG railwarz server is great i love it..... the wallfly is broken?? we cant "goto" any other servers... but i can go to tasty spleen railz.... and goto acmerwz... that works fine...
im not sure if the server download works correctly on acme rwz or not...i invted a few people from tasty spleen railz... and they said they were having texture issues and this and that....problemi go to tastyspleen servers and server download function works great!

if you want to keep a mod alive, more servers isnt the right approach unless you have too many people to play on one i have noticed it was fairly active once acme was added to the goto system and i could watch the player count... but it didn't seem like they had an over filled problem
there are 90% of tasty spleen servers dont get used.
We have worked very hard for years to build up a community for CTF and being East coast located have gathered players from the US and all of Europe. Our focus is CTF...L-Fire & TMG primarily but other variations are in our plans to add to the list of current servers. Our TMG Railwarz server is the testbed for development of the mod and all new builds run there before going public as greider is an integral part of AcmeCTF. And lets get real here...there just aren't enough players to support multiple servers the way it used to be. I would love that there were but it ain't so anymore. So, to keep Railwarz going it would seem to be counter-productive to split what is left.
