If someone with any brains at all is going to cheat while using AC, you honestly think they're gonna use a known unmodified wallhack to do it? No, they're gonna use a modified one or a brand new one, which will obviously report as an "unknown renderer". And considering the fact that this same person also has other hits for "modified client" and "proxy", I think it should be extremely suspicious to anyone and definitely worth investigating as deeply as possible, especially considering that this is all going on during a tournament. I don't think it's nitpicking or being unfair to this David fellow at all. If anything, it's being unfair to all the other people in the tournament who ARE NOT getting any AC violations. If something weird is going on with his game, then it's because he's changing something around to cause it. Those types of violations, being that there are DIFFERENT ONES (proxy, modified-client, and unknown-renderer), don't happen on accident or by coincidence. Someone does something to their game to CAUSE it to happen. You'd think someone participating in a highly competitive high-skill level tourney would have already gotten all of their games setting and appearance issues out of the way BEFORE the tourney. You've won a few sets with how your game is running already... why change things and risk making the wrong change and losing you whole fung shway?

I dunno how things are done in Europe, but here in America, if you get that many AC hits for that many different things, people want proof that it's kosher NOW, not in a few weeks after a tournament finishes.

Why wasn't my post addressed?

Why can't david record himself while playing purri/damiah, then post the video shortly after? I will send him a digital camera/video recorder and 16gb SD card if he agrees to do it, although pretty much everyone these days has a phone/camera already capable of doing so. If the answer is no he doesn't wish to do this, then tell me what he is prioritizing over verifying his legitimacy?

I think we should just avoid most of what's being discussed here and address the matter as simple and direct as possible. And if a player is truly the best, then he should have zero problem doing what I suggested, and even be prideful of his own skill by doing so.

So yeah, lets actually do something that produces results instead of give q2 history lessons and smack talk..

I was on the server when norman admitted to using vent to ghost adrenaline's position, to adrenaline's opponent in a EDL match.. I was "e|ipa" and if he saw "haunted" there instead, I'm sure he wouldn't have said that for me to see. Some euroo players laughed sharing his distaste for adrenaline, other euros actually had a problem with him doing so, and said it was wrong.  I condump'd it, and pasted it in IRC; that is why adrenaline knows.

Meaning, the whole "I'm an EDL admin" statement doesn't hold much weight in this discussion.

I didn't give you an attitude, I pretty much restated the facts that Dervish did with zero attitude on my part.

I agree. Hopefully nobody else from Europe comes here to back up someone that gets repeated AC violations. And if they do, I hope they can at least address the real question rather than skirting around it.

It wasn't an accusation norman, it was from a few months ago, and I pasted the log so around 30 people could see in IRC ETG #nadl... Many of whom post in this thread. The fact that your confusing this incident with another player might mean that you ghost peoples' locations a little too much....

Anyway, this thread is about david. Anymore discussion of norman's tendency to ghost adrenaline's position to people will be deleted promptly.

No need haunted as norman announced they will post proof after final game whatever that mean i guess camera is not  expensive in poland too :p

norman is EDL admin for few months and his greatest achievement is Adrenaline vs Michaq game when norman decided
that in game home/away on 3rd map Michaq have "right" on home server and home map
even with that odds Adrenaline won

Actually haunted's been the admin of many leagues on here, and he's been the admin of the TS tdm servers for a much longer time than you, norman.

autoexec.cfg was modified cause it contained unique_id for his nofake account which for obvious reasons was erased.

i dont wanna rock the boat anymore but again, if i was David, i would ve compromise that nofake account settings from his cfg in favor of one proof he s innocent. And btw i doubt more then 20 percent of whole q2scene use nofake account ... so not a big compromise. Its strange when theres always an explanation for all accusations : hasiu using his nick and cheats with nick David, wich btw, they both live in the same town and have same ip, modified cfg s before posting here cause of personal nofake account settings, preparing aim before he reaveals himself... etc there are many things with wich i could go on here.

So, so much bad luck does he have? i mean nothin, just nothing in his favour? (oh, i forgot, a letter with his biography, of wich we are all amazed by it)

 But again i hope we are wrong and he s legit, it would be awsome if we have another great player with such an unique style

He does have talent/skill, nobody will take that from him, at least from my pov he has great aim but if he s using wh thats a big advantage... damn, in a legit match, even only 1 hp could change the fate of an match . So imo, he could fit div1 but not raping top players.

norman u have 'right' on 3td attempt to send David proper cfg/paks

- players pak missing (spiked models)
- pak4.pak have wrong rail model meaning what u send is NOT his pak he using to play in EDL...
